A Spooktacular Creation

Hi everyone!

Happy Friday! I hope you had some fun checking out all the DT creations with Birthday Anya :)

Just ONE more day before the HUGE "Happy Anyaversary" Bash! Are you all excited!??? I can't wait! I had so much fun creating with the new releases that YOU will be able to buy in less than 24hrs here :)

Please stay tuned to the TGF blog, our PCP page, and Club Anya blog for some surprises throughout the day! All releases will go live for sale at MIDNIGHT tomorrow and the festivities begin at 9am until 9pm, so keep checking as we will be popping in and out throughout the day!

Now, speaking of today... if you didn't pop-in yet get over to Club Anya blog as soon as you finish here! There are some Fang-tastic creations with The Greeting Farm's new set "Spooktacular" :)

Here is a door hanger that I've made with some lovely mini-stamps that are included in its set. I think it can be put on a door for a lot of our teenage kids' rooms... ENTER AT YOUR OWN RISK!! lol

When I came for this creation I was a bit confused, as because we don't really celebrate Halloween that much in Malta (other some school activites on the day), I had no papers etc related to this theme. But then I thought of the Blessing called "computer.. internet" and I searched for free Halloween papers online! Yes.. there are many fantastic ones, but then I used Microsoft word to make this lovely background for the hanger.

I stmaped three of the mini stamps and coloured with Distress ink. I made them as Spooky as can be!! :)

I punched R-I-S-K circles from a DCWV Alphabet book, and cut the circle with my nesties. Next I added the ribbon, which luckily I had from a ribbon swap I had taken part in, and stamped the sentiments " Happy Halloween", "Spooktacular" and "Bewitched", which are also part of the set.

Finally I popped the images on 3D foam tape, and coloured in the bats with a black glitter pen, for some added shine.

I hope you like it and please, do go and check the other DT works. You can find the links in my sidebar, or at Club Anya Blog.

Happy weekend, and hope to hear from you here , and tomorrow in our Blog hop.

Presenting you...

A Sweet and Sassy ... "Dressy Anya!"

Today arrived the new Anya releases at my door!! You should have seen how thrilled I was! I've been waiting for them for three weeks to arrive! All the other members of the DT have started the sneak peaks a week ago, but it really wasn't my fault! So.. to make it up, I decided to make a Sweet and Sassy set! A lovely gift to a girl who's dressy, like our Anya :) It consists of a card, and a gift box where she can be given some jewellery.. perfume.. you know.. something sweet and sassy indeed! I had fun paper piecing this lovely Anya.. it took me several hours to finish these.. but I think it was worth it!

These gorgeous Anyas (this is only one of three that the set consists of) and some more surprises, will be available on August 1st.. very near now! :) I will remind you also that the same day The Greeting Farm will be one year old! So we'll be having a double party.. including TGF DT and Club Anya Dt.. togather for the Anyaversary blog hop!! Will you join?

I will be there as well, as for these two coming months I will be Guest Designer for Club Anya. How fun!! :) Right now there are lots of things going on both on The Greeting Farm blog, and also on Club Anya.. fun contests where you can win this lovely set! WHAT are you waiting for?

I coloured these images with my Distress Reinkers, and distressed the edges using foam and Tim Holtz distressing ink pads. The edges of the matted images were cut with a circle punch; while the heart border (yes I used it again :)) is from Fiskars. As embellishments I added some ribbon, rhinestones, and I also added some Papermania and Prima flowers, topped with vintage buttons. I love the effect on the red colour. The sentiments are partly computer generated, and the "Sassy" word is a rub on.

If you look well, you may notice something new on my card and gift box.. yes.. my flowers have the branch punched cut outs!! My sweet, gorgeous friend Iris sent me this lovely punch (with some other lovely goodies) for my Birthday! Yay!! Thank you Iris hunny.. you really made my day with these! :)

Now I'm off to have some hours of sleep, cause I have only one day left to prepare for the Big Anyaversary celebration!!! :)

...A little Love - ROP *17

Okay, so another Monday is here.. and that means that it's time for another Roses on Paper challenge! With all the buzz going on for the new Belles 'nd Whistles release; we still found time to make another challenge for you to have fun with on the Roses on Paper challenge Blog! I'm still excited with my yesterday win.. but hey.. these Elisabeth Bell images are blowing me out! Did you see the new sneak peak puzzle going on the Blog today? You should see that.. and if you're there to leave a comment.. who knows.. this stamp could be yours as well ;) How?? Click here, and go and check the deets!! :) I'm just counting the days when I can ink these babes up ;)

So let's see what Challenge dear Summer and my fellow DT members gave us today..

This challenge's theme is chosen by the marvelous Lim!
She would like you all to show us some love...
use hearts in your creation! Simple!

**Please don't forget, this project must be created using a Magnolia, Alota, Sarah Kay, Rachelle Anne Miller OR a Greeting Farm stamp in order to qualify!**

The winner of this Challenge will be chosen randomly on Monday, August 10th...you have until August 9th to enter!

The prize for this challenge will be
a newly released stamp from

Belles 'n Whistles!

Gosh!! Isn't this a super prize?! :)

For this card I used my brand new Magnolia Horse that I had won. Finally it's his turn :) I made a Baby girl card for some friends of mine who'll have a baby girl in a few months' time! I'm glad that it's ready, cause many times I leave these till the last minute.. and usually.. more often than not.. I'm late with cards for my friends! :))

I used DP from Papermania Scrumptious Pack. It's full of delish pink papers, most of them with hearts. One of the sheets though is from Basic Grey's Bittersweet Collection. I used Friday Sketcher's Sketch for my creation. I can also enter it for A Spoon Full of Sugar, as I used a swirl on the inside. I hope that counts :)

I inked up my horse with pinks and browns reinkers this time, and after trimming his head and feet, I cut the rest with an oval nestie (thank you my friend.. I always think of you everytime I use them!) I popped him up on other two nestie ovals and then covered the horse with Crystal Lacquer.

This photo helps you see the dimension and shine on the horse. I then cut the bits of paper I needed for the sketch, and matted with brown card stock. I also used the heart border punch from Fiskars. I tied the bow and after I made the knot, I slipped in the pink safety pin, and a stampin' up circle of friendship sentiment. I also popped salmon half pearls around the horse and some flowers and a pearl heart in the middle for some more cuteness :)

I disressed all paper edges with Brushed Courduroy ink.

(sorry for the blurred photo, couldn't sharpen it more)

On the inside I continued with the same theme and shapes. I printed a sentiment, and made a lrge swirl and some flowers to embellish. On the oppsite corner, I added pink and white buttons.

On the bottom panel I added a pink foam horse that was lying in my stash. I printed sweetheart on it with Blck Staz on ink, and stamped those hearts in the sides of the jotting panel. I hope you like what i created and shared with you. I'd be honored to read what you like, or dislike about it. I hope you have a lovely week. I have so many going on this week here.. I do hope that Mr.Postie hurries up with things I've been waiting for too long!!!!

Peace .. and Love to each of you and Yours.

HAnglar for Sketch Challenge

Hello everyone! How is your weekend going? Mine is fine until now.. and I plan on catching up a bit! I am still using the images I had coloured when I was away :)Actually I have some stamps waiting to be inked up: the Magnolia horse I had won from Bev's Simon says Candy, and the Gorjuss set I won from the Sugar Bowl challenge. They are patiently waiting!! :)

Now for today's card. As you see I made another head-start card for Christmas, with this HAnglar beautiful image. Thank you for my friends that sent me these HAnglar images.. they are soo cute.. and so hard to find :)

I made this card for a Sketch challenge that the talented Kellie Winnell is making on her blog. The prize is some Motivet stamps.. and oh how gorgeous they are! Honestly I really like them, and the DT make some lovely cards with them :) If you never seen Motivet stamps, go and check them out here.

I coloured with Distress Inks, and used a white gel pen for highlights, and Souffle pens for making some dimension in the pompoms and on the glittery part of the hat. Last step (when the card was finished) I added stardust Stickles on the hats, Cinnamon and Baby Blue Stickles on the pompoms. Then I added some Candy Cane on the cloth of that pretty basket full of yummies the girl is holding. On the kettle and the cups and othet bits they are holding I put Crystal Lacquer, for some more dimension and shine :) The snowflakes of the image are rub-ons. I embellished the two opposite corners with a small silver star brad.

Behind the image, if you check, there is a doily lace, which I distressed with Faded Jeans ink, and a foam sponge. Prima flowers, Basic Grey brad and some flower buttons embellish the top right hand corner. The blue rhinestones are popped in the middle with glue dots. They came out good, what you think?

In this photo I want to show you a small polymer clay angel I added, isn't he cute?? lol I love his smile :). The bottom sentiment is a rub on, and I matted the CS after I punched the edges for some design.

On the inside I used a Basic Grey paper, then matted a piece of the DP I used on the front, and on top I placed a piece of the same velveted organza ribbon which I had also used on the front.

With an X-Cut punch I punched a couple of large snowflakes, and two others from the blue cardstock. I cut the middle piece of the latter ones, and popped them on the others for dimnsion. Finally i added a blob of silver Stickles on these and left to dry.

Next, I punched three more snowflakes form some remaining pieces of CS, again cut the middle part, and layed them on a piece of white CS. I sponged Antique Linen Distress Ink, and Brushed Courduroy on top of that.. the second ink just in the outer parts of the CS. While i went round I changed the snowflakes' places, to result in a border around the jotting piece. As you can see I added a sentiment in the middle, and some Anita's glitterations I bought from our local craft shop, Craft Mania.

Dewdrops and Silver Stickles made the final touch, and voila! Phew.. that was a long explanation! :)

A side view of the card.

If you may have any questions or queries, do not hesitate to get in touch through my e mail, chat box or whatever way you'd like to cocntact me. Thank you for those who leave me a comment on my creations.
Big hugs and happy weekend my friend! Stay safe :)

Sugar Bowl - Gayle's sketch

Hello my friend, how are you? I hope you're having a smashing week... mine is a lovely one, but unfortunately the most of the kids have flu, or sore throat.. so not much swimming this weekfor them :) We stayed here today, and while they painted, and made cards, I finished this; which I has started yesterday. It is for Sugar Bowl. Gayle made a lovey sketch this week. I loved it as it left ample room for embellies, swirls ans flowers :)

Thank you Debbie for this gorgeous image, I really had fun colouring her :) I used distress Inks, and focused mainly on pinks and greens. Okay, I know, it hasn't been long since I used this combo, but I like it, and I thought that it suited her :))

The papers I used is Basic Grey Porcelain, and the glittered green are from Doodlebug. They are really yummy!!

This is a close up to show you the glitter on the papers, and shiny shoes and bow with Stickles.

To embellish I used primas and also some mini flowers on her hat and the flowers in the basket. Then I added small pearls to the centres. I love how they look. On the side of the image I added some more pearls, and a tag for sentiment. That is from K& Co tins. In the middle of the bow, I also used a hatpin with some white and green pearl beads, and a small spacer. Finally i added some Stickles on her shoes and belt, and a swirl die cut in the corner.

As for the inside I used complimentary papers, added a computer-generated message, and embellished with tags and flowers. Sorry these were in my stash, can't remember the name. I also decorated the jotting piece with Papermania Ribbon Sticker. I think it goes well with all the other papers etc.

I hope you are well, happily crafting and having some relaxing time this Summer. I try my utmost to make some me- time as well :) Thank you for any comment you choose to leave. It's always a blessing to find you've been here, seeing what I've done.

Remember that ROP challenge "Summer and Vacation" is still going on. Check it out here, and the Belles 'n Whistles sneak peeks are being held here.

Just for Magnolia, and Club Anya news!

Finally.. I get to post this card! I hope Winter will come again soon~!! Winter please do! I find it sooo difficult to keep up with all these lovely challenges in Summer. You have to keep the kids busy, making some time for them and also taking them out almost everyday. When you come back there's a lot of laundry, etc etc... :))

Yesterday we went to swim and I made them a BBQ at the beach as well.
Today I was too tired to take them out, and tomorrow we have a whole day in a Hotel Pool, so we stayed here and watched Night at the Museum 2. I liked it, but I think I prefer the first one.. yet! Cause sometimes I change my mind :) hehe

Any whoo here is my card for today. I made it for Just Magnolia. There was this lovely sketch, and I wanted to play. I used this lovely Tilda, so cute and adorable, don't you think?

When the card was almost finished, I remembered that it HAD to be made 3d! Luckily I had two more images of her, and I coloured the dress and the heart for the second layer, and then only the heart for the third and final layer. Maybe you can see it better in this photo.

I wished the oval folder-embossed panel behind Tilda was more yellowish... but then it was already done.. and I left her that way.
I used quite a lot of distressing and paper tearing in this card, but I love the feel of it. I distressed all panels before gluing; and this I did with my fingernails.

On the inside I did the same, used coordinating papers from the same Basic Grey Lime Rickey pack. The numbers paper is from the Cupcake pack. I added quite some flowers, Prima and embossed flowers, dewdrops, ribbon and pearls, and a computer genenrated message on the inside. I hope you like this Tilda.. she's offering you her Love and her heart.. will you offer her a comment? :) She'd love to hear from you.

Now for Club Anya news!! As you know I was chosen as Club Anya's Guest Designer for Aug-Sep! Well.. now that I have waited and waited... my turn will start with a Big Party Bash!! No.. no.. Summertime - ROP Challenge 16

Hello everyone!! Did you have a lovely weekend? Mine was very good, with some lovely family and friends time.. and also time to make my DT card for this week's ROP challenge .. we're already at the 16th!! :) This time the challenge is set by our lovely and talented Iris; and she chose the theme:

Summer time is Vacation time! Create something that is inspired by Summer.

We have quite a very hot Summer in Malta, so everyone dashes for the seaside at every spare moment that he/she has. Tilda here made the same.. and what a sun tan she got!! If you look well she even has her sun protection cream on her face and forehead! :)) She seems to be having such "Fun in the Sun", as the sentiment says.

I got this image from a friend some months ago, and wanted to leave her for this warm time of the year. When Iris chose this theme I immediately knew what image I wanted to use. As the image is stamped on regular cardstock, it gave me some hard time to colour her in water based ink, but bit by bit I managed to build the colour up. As I already told you I gave Tilda some reddish skin, as we end up like this here when we go to the beach. I always say we look like lobsters! lol

I will enter this card forSketch Saturday, as I used their sketch to make this card. The main sentiment, the one on top, is part of a vacation themed set of 3D cardboard sentiments that I was sent last year on my Birthday by one of my online friends, with some more goodies :) Then I matted and embellished with flowers (Prima and crotcheted white flower), Dewdrops, spacer and charm, and a wooden sea shell to go with the theme.

The stamped sun and the bottom sentiment are part of a Studio G clear stamp set.
On the inside I used the remaining parts of the paper, punched out a heart border, which i distressed with Faded Jeans Ink and added a computer generated sentiment matted with oval nesties.

Last I added some bling with Rhinestones on the inside and stickles on the top part of Maggie's dress and on the orange flower. I hope you like my darling Maggie. let us know what you think of her, and more than that I hope you join us in the fun on our Roses on Paper Challenge blog. Click and go and see my other fellow DT members cards, and why not, wish someone a Happy Summer by making a summer themed creation and enter for a lovely price that Summer always offer to one random winner. Don't forget that you can also combine our challenges with any other, and be eligible for the prize if you win all the same.

Have a happy week my friend. I hope that you will find some time to rest and enjoy your family during this season, and why not.. find some time to play with our toys! :) Remember to join the fun also on Belles & Whistles Blog to be updated on the soon coming release of this new line of stamps by the super talented Elisabeth Bell.
