BnW and ROP DT- Eden with Teddy

Happy Monday my dear friends.



I hope you had a wonderful weekend, and have started your week in a wondeful way. Part one of my move is finally dealt with, and I spent the weekend unpacking and organising my stuff! But today I wanted to make my DT card for BnW challenge, as it was decided by our lovely Lils, and I just loved it.

Lilian, or Lils as we call her (BTW it was her Birthday yesterday.. so go and leave her some love!!)wants to see red on our creations this week, and obviously you have to have a BNW image on your card.

I used the cute Eden with Teddy from the latest Collection "Forever Young". Isn't she darling??

I coloured the image with Copics, and used some gorgeous BG paper, together with some left over scraps I had in my folder. Around the image I stamped a Stempelglede grunge stamp, with Tattered Rose Distress ink. You can see the lovely swirls sticking out :) I added some square brads in the corners of the image, ribbon, a red handbag charm, a Birthday Wishes ticket, and a flower treatment that this cutie deserves! The big rose was sprayed with both Pearls and Tattered rose Glimmer mists, and I touched the edges with a red Copic. The lovely ticket sentiment is a wonderful print out from a download I did from Caz's blog. I just changed some of the sentiments, to suit my cards, and voila! I didn't have Kraft cardstock, but I printed them out on normal white paper and on this one I stamped another from the Stempelglede grunge stamps, with Antique Linen. I like how it turned out :)

Happy Birthday Sketch Saturday!! ROP DT

Happy Thursday to all my visitors and friends!!


I hope your week is a fabulous one, and that each one of you is blessed with Health and Love!

I am here to celebrate the 2nd Birthday of one of my favourite challenge blogs, Sketch Saturday, but I'm happy that I can also enter a couple of more challenges with my card.







Today I am featuring Tilda with Tulip, she is a gorgeous one, and I had a lovely time colouring her. This time I wanted to make the light coming from the left hand side of the mage, thus the one side lighly coloured than the other. I hope I have managed ok :)

I coloured with Copics, and used Star dust Stickles to bling my image. I am in the pink and green mood right now, lol







I admit that it's one of my favourite combos, but this week we have quite an interesting choice of colour combos challenges. We'll see if I'll find the time to make something with those!

The lovely paper I used here is from Basic Grey Eva papers. I just love those papers. Both ribbon are from my stash, and the roses are a mixture of Prima, and paper roses sent to me by my lovely friend Jacque. Thank you sweetie, and I hope you are feeling better! xx

The oval die cut on which there are the pearl brads was also part of a RAK. This one is from Sheila. I feel so blessed with having these friends, and others help me out! Friendship is such a wonderful thing! Thanks to each one of you who send me paper, embellies, or stamps and DT stuff. I so appreciate each one of you xx


The roses were given the glimmer mist treatment. I used Tattered Rose on the pink, and Olive Vine on the green. Sentiment is computer generated, and I distressed many of the papers and pink roses' edges with Aged Mahogany.







This is how I decorated the inside. Both the Basic Grey papers, and BG brad on the inside flower can be purchased from Roses on Paper. You can also find the Fairytale Magnolia Collection, and pre-order the soon coming Jene Edition of Magnolia Ink Magazine. All this at this wonderful online Store.

ROP/BNW Challenge 36 - Sketch

I am sorry that I'm late posting this challenge. I should have uploaded this yesterday, but I had no chance. Yesterday we started a new challenge for ROP/BNW challenge blog. This time it is wonderful and talented Iris' choice, and she did a lovely sketch for us. I like sketches that can be interpreted in lots of ways, so it was lovely to work on this.


I used Basic Grey's Marrakech papers for some strong colours, and my gorgeous Tilda with the newly hatched Chick... which you can find in Summer's Store here.







I love my Maggies, and can't seem to put them down right now! But I also love our gorgeous BnW stamps, and I have something new,which I finished yesterday, to show you with these stamps maybe next time :)






The blue Magnolia flower was sprayed with Fall Breeze Glimmer mist.



I coloured the image with these Copics. Sentiment is a clear stamp Studio G. Ribbon and bling from my stash. All lovely Magnolia flowers used here can also be found in Summer's Store, here.

ROP DT- Ladybug Tilda turns Basic Grey!

... hehe.. in more ways than one!!

First because when creating this card I used Basic Grey papers (minus the black & white large polka dotted one).. secondly because I used greys and blacks a lot when colouring her.. so she turned out Basic Grey!! And third, because I used Basic Grey's Challenge Sketch. sorry, I couldn't help it! :)







I hope you like it. This is a different card from my "usual" colour combos.. but it was fun. This Tilda is a new stamp I was given, (thank you Sonja sweetie!!) I just love Magnolias, so I was jumping up and down when I was sent three stamps by a dear friend of mine! I am thoroughly blessed. xx





I didn't add a lot of embellies, as the sketch and papers are busy enough; but I did add a shower of flowers. Ribbon is from Quixotic Paperie,pearl hearts are from my stash. Rhinestones are basic Grey as well, red mini roses are from Craft time, large white flower is Magnolia.. so lush!! Sentiment is Stampin ' Up.







This is how I decorated the inside. I used a card making kit, it had these colours, and I saw it was fitting to decorate the inside in a retro way. What do you think of my Ladybug Maggie? I will be entering this card for Magnolia Down Under Challenges as well, as the theme is Thank you card this week.

BNW/ ROP DT- Challenge 35

Hello my friends! A quick post this morning, just before I spend some hours washing and cleaning our van ;) YAY! lol

I hope you had a wonderful Easter, mine was good, some time with my Community.. celebrating such a wonderful feast with a lovely meal with some friends and other sisters.. then some play time for me and later time with mum. Quiet and peaceful day, and I hope it was like that for you too.



Time for another ROP challenge. First of all I would like to say thank you to all those who participated in my Punch it! challenge.. 100 entrants, 100 smiles. Thanks again.

This time it's the ubber talented Jodi hosting the challenge, and she chose


Lots of Layers


for a theme. She wants to see more than two layers on your projects... and I fond the perfect sketch as well. I used Truly Scrumptious sketch for my multi layer card, and I used my brand new Watering Belle stamp. Isn't she adorable, in that gorgeous hat??








I had so much fun colouring her, and I teamed her up with BG Sultry papers. Coloured her with Copics. This time I chose to add a scalloped edge in the bottom of the card, so I started with white cardstock, which I scored one panel longer than the other. The scalloped edge was done using Core' dinations cs punched with MS doily lace punch and distressed with nail file.

For the sentiment I used this gorgeous WOJ sentiment form this Spring set, and I cut it with my nestie ovals. Distressed the edge with Fired Brick and added this lovely bloom charm, to compliment my theme.








Finally I embellished with some gorgeous Prima flowers, some other Bridal Craft flowers (thank you Sheila for these!! love them so much!) and some red dewdrops for a more eyecatching look. Foliage is Magnolia, and you can find a GORGEOUS selection of Magnolia flowers and foliage in Summers Store. You HAVE to see these, if you haven't already!! My my.. these are too scrumptious to resist!!!

Belles 'nd Whistles - Tea Time

Happy Tuesday!


Another of the gorgeous BnW new release beauties to share with you today. This time I have used "Tea Time", another new stamp designed by the talented Elisabeth Bell. As you can see, even though te stamps now are clear stamps, the image is as fine and crisp as it used to be when stamped with red rubber; something that even I used to beleive it was impossible to achieve.






I coloured my sweet and relaxed Belle with Copics, isn't she enjoying her cuppa?! :) And she's offering you some cookies as well! Yum! I woulld like to join her, don' you?






Gold stickles on the roses' edges.


Papers are mainly from Basic Grey's Indian Summer pack, the other small pieces are from my leftover folder. I added a small ladybug, to match the one on the DP. That piece
(of the one with the ladybug printed on it) is a leftover from the paper I used for my Willow Wedding card, that you will find below the post.







The small flourish is cut with a Spellbinder's die, and the sentiment and gorgeous flowers are a gift from my dear friend Sheila. Thank you sweetie xx The small brown brad is Basic Grey, and dewdrops are from Roses on Paper. I still have to finish the inside of my card, I will finish it later on.

Punch it - My ROP/BnW Challenge

Happy Monday everyone!


Are you ready for another week?? Well, after all that Blog Hops on Thursday with Mo's DT, and Friday wirh BnW... I am still a bit tired! (all that hopping, you know!). Joking, no thank God, I am ready for another week, filled with Blessings and new opportunities to help and make others happy.

But I do hope that you remembered that Pre orders for the new Spring Cleaning and Summer release started yesterday at BnW Store, and later this week shipping will start, so if you are soo much looking forward to have your new babes, go and pre order now if you still haven't.

Back to our Challenge. This time it is my turn to set the challenge, and I like to choose themes that are easy for all of you to join in. I know that all of us don't have enough time to create as much as we would like to, so remember that you can join other challenges with your creation for ROP/BNW challenge, but it has to have one of the stamps available in Summer's Stores.









For this week, I chose the theme: Punch it!!

No I don't want YOU to punch anyone, I'd like you to PUNCH your cards, using one or as many as you'd like punches on your creation. I have obviously used another one of the fresh cuties available at BnW: Bronzing Beauty, and I created this card using a pink/deep red and green combo.







I used Copics to colour bronzing Belle, and then added some Stickles on the flowers of her bathing suit.I punched a matting frame with a Martha Stewart punch (I'm sorry I forgot the name) and I also used the doily lace punch (also form MS) to create the panel across the main dp. I rounded the image's corners, and embellished with those cute small blingy corners, that coordinated perfectly with the combo. I really like those corners, thank you Sonja for sending them! The "sand" beneath her feet was done by patting the ground with three light shades of brown Copics, then I added some Scattered Straw Stickles for dimension and shine :)


Papers are BG, Eva and Cupcake packs, and the flowers are Prima and Magnolia (the large green flower). It's a gorgeous flower, and I distressed it with Peeled Paint and touched it with Stickles of the same colour. All highlighted products can be found at Roses on Paper... plus many more must haves for lovely creations.







The flowers underneath the mini roses, as you can see, are punch outs, so in all I used 4 different punches in this card.. 2 border punches, a flower punch and a corner rounder punch. How much will you use?? :)) Show me, by adding your card here, in our challenge blog.

Sentiment is K& Co, and I used this one as it had the same colours as the ones I used. Well this Belle IS an orignal, her beauty is tops, and it can be used for lots of occasions: Friendship, Summer birthdays, Invites, thank yous.. you name it! You can buy her here!








This is the inside view. I used a Stempelglede grunge stamp and Stampin' up round sentiment for the upper side. For the lower side I used another BG paper, and included a jotting piece, which I Distressed and embellished with half pearls, from my stash.

ROP/BnW challenge

Yes it that time again... time for another ROP/BnW challenge. Time flies when you are in good health, doesn't it? But poor those who are sick and not able to do much.. each day i like it's never going to end! We should be so thankful!

This week, our lovely and talented Peta challenged us to an Easter themed card.. using Pastel colours! But daft me.. I forgot the last part, until the card was finished and photographed!!! *rolls eyes*


So sorry... don't copy me! I used one of last year's Easter Magnolia stamps, I like those cute chicks trying to get Tilda's attention!! :)







I coloured my image in Copics and used Friday Sketcher's sketch for this week. It is a fab one. As for papers I used Brenda Walton's K&Co papers, they have been lying in my stash for quite a while, as I don't often used these shades of colour often. But I wanted to use some now.

The middle "orangey" paper is BG, and all paper and doily were ditressed with Vintage Photo ink.







Finally I added flowers, a hat pin and some beads (so it can fit into the SFOS challenge.. which is beads). It can also fit in Cupcake CC theme: flowers and Stamp with Fun which is Spring :)

The sentiment is from ODBD stamp set. And the butterfly and ribbon were also in my stash.

Stamp, rhinestones and dewdrops are from Roses on Paper Store.

Thinking of You- Card for Mum - ROP DT

Good Friday my dear friends.




Thank God its nearly weekend again, some time to unwind a bit from the weekdays rush. I have managed to finish this card (and it took me some time.. on and off). I made it for a friend's mum. This cute image was sent to me by a sweet friend, and I decided touse it for a card and some challenges.






I coloured her in Copics and used Sketch and Stash sketch, I loved it.. But I'm sorry girls, I tilted the image a bit, it worked better for me, even as the image is quite large. The frame around the image is done using Stempelglede stamps and Tattered Rose Distress inks. The green background is done with Pine Needles Distress ink, and after it dried, I added some more interest with a white gel pen.







The sentiment I used is a Studio G clear stamp, and I deangled a heart charm from the brad. the round sentiment stamped on the DP is Stampi' Up, and flowers are from Prima Country Elegance.

ROP/BnW Challenge- Male Card

Good morning everyone!


I hope you are feeling well, and that you have a good start of the week :) I am glad that I have the opportunity to share another card today :)

This week we have another RoP/BnW challenge, and this time super sweet and talented Anki wants to see male cards! Agggr... not my favourite type.. but then I always have fun and am glad how they turn out in the end! :))






What hindered me this time was that I couldn't decide what image to use. I wished to make a Magnolia card, but couldn't find an Edwin stamp that I could use. I had Edwin celebrating, but I didn't wish to use that. Fortunately for me, I found this image in my images folder, someone had sent it to me, and I liked it.

I based my card on Lilacs, warm greys and soft blues, and used again some of the Magnolia papers. Aggh these are always hard to tear.. but then they look lovely on cards, don't they?






I coloured Edwin with Copics, cut around the image, and put him aside with Stickles on his wings.. to dry. Then cut a piece of cardstock and Distressed with Weathered Wood Distress ink. I left it to dry for some minutes and then used again the same ink pad , and stamped some Grunge shapes around the long sides of the frame. Needless to say, these are Stempelglede stamps.







I matted on lilac Core'dination cardstock and light blue cardstock after that. Then I mounted the main DP, sewed around it with my machine, and continued adding the layers.
Finally I distressed the edges for a masculine, rough feel, and biting my lip I tore the DP in some places to make it more rough looking (I bit my lip because I couldn't stand to tear it!!!)

In the bottom corner I added a Greeting Farm sentiment, stamping again with Weathered Wood directly on the paper, and the other sentiment was computer generated, distressed and matted like the image.

Finally I added square brads, with I accented with some roughly done (on purpose) Copic colour, Mini square Basic Grey Rhinestones , and a couple of buttons.

This is how I decorated the inside. I love this card, maybe it's one of the few that will not get out from my room in the near future :))
