Thank God its nearly weekend again, some time to unwind a bit from the weekdays rush. I have managed to finish this card (and it took me some time.. on and off). I made it for a friend's mum. This cute image was sent to me by a sweet friend, and I decided touse it for a card and some challenges.
I coloured her in Copics and used Sketch and Stash sketch, I loved it.. But I'm sorry girls, I tilted the image a bit, it worked better for me, even as the image is quite large. The frame around the image is done using Stempelglede stamps and Tattered Rose Distress inks. The green background is done with Pine Needles Distress ink, and after it dried, I added some more interest with a white gel pen.
The sentiment I used is a Studio G clear stamp, and I deangled a heart charm from the brad. the round sentiment stamped on the DP is Stampi' Up, and flowers are from Prima Country Elegance.
you will find direct links fro where you can but most of the materials I used below, in this post.
Challenges I will be entering with this card:
Sketch and Stash: Sketch and a new image
My Time to Craft: For mum
Simon Says: Feminine/ for mum
Paperplay: Just Because
CRAFT: Mother's Day/ flowers
Totally Gorjuss: For mum
For the inside I used another sheet from the same DP I used on the front: Basic Grey Lemonade paper pack. As it was quite busy DP, I left the jotting pad simple, using only a Martha Stewart punch, and a couple of flowers.
I hope you have a lovely weekend, and share your talent and joy with the people around you. You wll be amazed how much you have been given from Him, and how much hapapier you can make a person with a simple card.
