I used Friday sketchers' sketch for this challenge. It was a very versatile sketch to use.
As for papers I used Eskimo Ksses, so sorry.. not actuall Hunter green mine! I used a gold vintage button to embellish, gold spacers and punched flowers.

The winner of this Challenge will be chosen randomly on Monday, December 28th...you have until December 27th to enter!

The prize for this challenge will be winner's choice of any Belles 'n Whistles stamp!

Let it Snow- ROP DT

Okay a quickie post to share another Special card with you, and again featuring the Magnolia So Jolly Collection, presently availabe at Roses on Paper. This time I used Sketch and Stash sketch, which had a Scalloped edge. Well I turned the sketch to make the scalloped edge on the bottom.

What I did was an easel card, having Silent Night music stamp as the background, stamped with Atlantic Versamark ink, and Distressed with Weathered Wood Distress ink.

The open view of the card.

Tilda with present is on her way through the snow, and she is going to deliver her lovely wrapped pressie to someone special. It was snowing, and on the road there were heaps of snow :) These were free hand drawn by me, and I used them as the scalloped edge on the sketch. There was even a charming snowman, lovingly made by some lively children.. what a cute guy!! :))

As you can see I used tons of Stickles on this one: Crystal, Frosted Lace, Silver and Turquoise.
I coloured Tilda with Distressed Reinkers, but Snowman is done with Copics. So, I can use this card for the following Challenges:

Copic Creations, who want to see snow people
Just Magnolia: A special card for someone special (and I have used 3 Magnolia stamps)
Sketch and Stash: Used the sketch and have new stamps here
A Spoon Full of Sugar: who want Monochromatic cards.

To embellish the card, I used a large glittered snowflake sticker, which I placed on the music. Then I made the organza ribbon, and on the bow I used a large spacer, Basic Grey brad, and two charms, which I dangled using two different heights for more interest. The large blue dewdrops are also from Roses on Paper, from the mint choc bottle. I love how clear they are.

Papers are the lovely Dovecraft Winter Wonderland. I wish I can double these papers, they are so lovely to use for a snowy effect.

On the inside I placed both a sentiment, which now you know it's a must on my Christmas cards, and I left another smaller white panel for jotting. I made also some faux stitches with a blue glitter pen, and distressed the edges with Broken China.

I hope you like it. I am having the time of my life with these Magnolia stamps, and if you want to make something special for this Christmas I reccomend that you go directly to Summer's Store and order them, before they are totally gone! Have a lovely rest of the week, and big Maggie hugs to you all :)

Copics used: Bluish colours: B000, B95, B97
Colours used for the snowman's lamp: Y0000, Y06, Y23, Yr16
(Cheeks are done with Distressed colours)

ROP DT- A card for Someone Special

Whoever this "Someone special" might be? Who will receive my "Special" card?? Mmmm.. a secret for now! :) I'm sure she will read this, so no names :)

Well, but I can share the card with you, no? :) Of course! I just LOVE the Magnolia stamps Summer sent me, I recieved them a couple of days ago, and couldn't wait to have inked them all up. I decided to start with this darling Maggie.. isn't she cute? I LOVE this image.. and I know lots of you do. she so reminds me of the Nativity plays the kids do every Christmas at school!

I read this week that Just Magnolia have their monthly challenge - a card for someone special. And I know that if you want to give something to someone special.. it MUST be special, no? So I wanted to do a card that is not a regular 6x6.. I looked around for inspiration. I admit I found it when I visited the new Challenge blog Sketchy Colours, and I saw Marianne's card. I knew that I wanted to do something similar, but with a Maggie of course. So I used their sketch, and I cased her card, and I hope it will also inspire you to make one yourself. I love how it turned out. I will also enter it for Stamp something's and Magnolia Down Under's challenges.. thay want to see bling and shine.. they got it! :)

As for papers, I used Papermania 12x12 Joyeux Noel, and I coloured Tilda with Distress Inks and Reinkers. As for the background though, I used Copics:

E000, E00, E11, E21, E35

When it was dry, and I was satisfied with the colouring I added Stickles to her hair band, dress and wings. I also used a white gel pen to create a snow is falling effects, and this by making dots randomly.. thanks Lils for the lovely idea :) I also covered with Stickles two felt snowfalkes. When they were dry I added Basic Grey Half Pearls, to match the ones I used on the card, bigger in size.

The inside is plain, but I made a sentiment on one of the smaller panels. Hopefully this week I'll have some Stempelglede stamps (Hurray :) and I can decorate the dotting panel's corners before it goes to its recipient ;)

Flowers are from my stash, and before I put the Stickles in its place, I touched the edges of both flowers with it, for some bling. You can see it better in this photo. Finally I added a piece of gold ribbon, to make a bow. It will be used to close the card, and it adds a lovely touch.

Thank you for coming to visit me today. I hope you like my Angel Maggie,if you want her Summer has them in stock right now..this cutie pie and her sisters :) Lovely new goodies in as well lately in her store! Check it out! :) But hurry up, or you won't find any, cause they're going like cheesecakes! This release is one of Magnolia's best(ok I almost always say that!), and Summer will make sure you have your babes as soon as possible! :) I hope you'll come back again. Double thank you if you decide to leave me a comment. Smiles!

Rockin Around - BnW DT

Happy Sunday everyone!

Lovely weather here today, not too cold and no rain.. Perfect weather for a winter day. I looove winter, and prefer rain and thunderstorms more then summer weather ANYTIME! Ok.. you can call me crazy, but whoever lives on this island can tell you WHAT Summer weather IS here... too too hot!!

Anyway another Christmas card for you today.. (have you had enough yet?) hehe On a more tradition colour scheme this time: having red, green and gold in it. So it can be entered in Stampin' for the Weekend challenge for this week . Do you like that cute Elisabeth Bell image? If you remember it was part of the Belles 'nd Whistles Christmas Release 1. She is adorable, and if you like her you can purchase her here. I'm sure you won't be disappointed, se looks good on cards, Calendars and also on gifts for your kids. A very tender image indeed.

I used Sketch Saturday's sketch for this week, and it was quick and easy. I had also coloured this image some days ago, so voila! Ready to go :) I used Copics to colour her (sorry mixed up the colours before the photo, so no list of Copics today. sorry again) Papers are Wassail.. I love this pack so much, Basic Grey Stitched Beads (these are so gorgeous to use) and a Ponsietta as the main embellishmet. Ribon from my stash, and two MS punches used to create some movement in the card. The glittered snowfalkes are Papermania stickers, and I decorated the middle with clear rhinestones.

The inside is also decorated and the sentiment and the angel on the jotting part are clear stamps from Binky Crafts. Have a wonderful day, and I hope that you find some quiet time to thank the Lord for all He gave you this week, and for the Love you gave andrecievd. I'm sure the list is long, as is mine :)

And remember to Smile! :)
