I hope you had a wonderful weekend, and a good start to a new week. I had a busy, busy week, and I have no finished cards.. am late lso for our BnW Challenge! Yikes!!
But as I was checking some challenges I remembered that I have a Magnolia card that I never shared with you. I had sent it for the Magnolia Ink Magazine, but it didn't make the cut.

Anyways, it can make the Just Magnolia challenge, that this week want any sentiment on the card, and The Magnolia Down Under Challenge, which want the following colours on our creations: Orange, Pink, Green, Brown and Blue. If you look closely you will all find them there.







Some are more obvious than others, but I have each one of them there :)I will also enter Stampin for the weekend, as it is an open challenge! Yay! :)

My First Criss-Cross Card! ROP DT

Happy Monday everyone!!

Thank you for visiting me again, I am so Blessed to be surrounded by so many wonderful Blogging Friends, who encourage me to use my talent, which is a Gid-given gift. I remind myself over and over again, so that I find joy in sharing my ideas, and make someone happy with my cards.

Today I have tried to make my forst ever criss-cross card. It is easy to do, and I thank Just Magnolia, for making this chalenge for us. It gave me an opportunity to try this one. I was reluctant at first, but I had just finished colouring my Tilda, and knew what paper I wanted to use with it, so I could afford a try! :)

I coloured Tilda with Copics and added Stardust and Mulled Lavender Stickles on her wings. The stickles on her dress is called Eucalyptus. You can find Tim Holtz Stickles for your projects at Roses on Paper. If you would like any colour that you don't see in stock, just take the time to e mail Summer, to check when it will be in. The paper I used to stamp my image on is Neenah Solar White. Thank you Sonja dear for giving me the opportunity to use these lovely stamps, and try out the cardstock and Magnolia paper (called Bubbles).


After I finished colouring, I cut around Tilda. After I had finished decorating the card, I propped her on the side.For added dimension, on the bottom half I used glue dots, but from her wings up I used foam dots.


After that, I stamped some extra bubbles and after I coloured them I cut around and glue-dotted them on the other side, as if these are bubbles that Tilda just blew.






I embellished with lace ribbon, and a lovely flower that was also a gift from Sonja. Huggies for you dear. I used a Basic Grey brad in the middle, and some flourishes that I did using the Marianne Designs die that my brother and SIL sent me for my coming Birthday. Thank you sweeties :) You're the best! Can't wait to see you in 5 weeks' time :)

On the flourishes, I added a couple of matching gems.







The jotting panel has more bubbles, as you can see. I love this set of Magnolia stamps, they look cool together :) I distressed the edges with Milled Lavender and Dusty Corduroy Distress Ink, and added faux stitching with a fine black marker and Thank you sentiment.

ROP DT: Love is...

... KIND!!








That's the theme of this Magnolia card that I started and finished today. It is an easel card, using this gorgeous Fairytale Tilda stamp from the Fairytale collection. A Stamp that you can find at Roses on Paper, together with lots of the latest Magnolia stamps and other goodies.. including Magnolia flowers, some of which you can also see on this card. At the moment there is the last stmp in stock from this particular image, but if that is gone when you go to purchase it, do drop a line to Summer, and I'm sure she'll help you out!! Summer is so kind and helpful!!







I had so much fun putting together this card, a card which I made with a touch of Scandinavian style (not the papers though)

All papers are distressed with Worn Lipstick (the pink)and Faded Jeans (the blue)
This is how I dcorated the inside. I used a tag, which I diestressed and mounted for an anchor, so that the esel card can stand. I decorated with flowers, and punched ones as well, like the ones I did on the main panel. The half doily lace behind the tag was given distress ink and pearl glimmer mist generous treatment. It doesn't really show in the photos, but it glimmers alright!! :)

Finally I added faux stitching, as my mini machine is broken at the mo!! :0)

Happy Birthday Sketch Saturday!! ROP DT

Happy Thursday to all my visitors and friends!!


I hope your week is a fabulous one, and that each one of you is blessed with Health and Love!

I am here to celebrate the 2nd Birthday of one of my favourite challenge blogs, Sketch Saturday, but I'm happy that I can also enter a couple of more challenges with my card.







Today I am featuring Tilda with Tulip, she is a gorgeous one, and I had a lovely time colouring her. This time I wanted to make the light coming from the left hand side of the mage, thus the one side lighly coloured than the other. I hope I have managed ok :)

I coloured with Copics, and used Star dust Stickles to bling my image. I am in the pink and green mood right now, lol







I admit that it's one of my favourite combos, but this week we have quite an interesting choice of colour combos challenges. We'll see if I'll find the time to make something with those!

The lovely paper I used here is from Basic Grey Eva papers. I just love those papers. Both ribbon are from my stash, and the roses are a mixture of Prima, and paper roses sent to me by my lovely friend Jacque. Thank you sweetie, and I hope you are feeling better! xx

The oval die cut on which there are the pearl brads was also part of a RAK. This one is from Sheila. I feel so blessed with having these friends, and others help me out! Friendship is such a wonderful thing! Thanks to each one of you who send me paper, embellies, or stamps and DT stuff. I so appreciate each one of you xx


The roses were given the glimmer mist treatment. I used Tattered Rose on the pink, and Olive Vine on the green. Sentiment is computer generated, and I distressed many of the papers and pink roses' edges with Aged Mahogany.







This is how I decorated the inside. Both the Basic Grey papers, and BG brad on the inside flower can be purchased from Roses on Paper. You can also find the Fairytale Magnolia Collection, and pre-order the soon coming Jene Edition of Magnolia Ink Magazine. All this at this wonderful online Store.

Maggie visits some challenges-

Happy Thursday to all my Blogging Friends!

Sorry that I've been away for some days, but I am veeerrryy busy right now, and to finish a card is taking me longet than I wish. But here I am today with this Maggie Easel card to share with you.









I made it with Friday Sketcher's fab sketch, (sorry had to tweak it a little) and I teamed up the fab mushroom Magnolia papers with this gorgeous Tilda sitting on the big mushroom, another Magnolia stamp.

I coloured with Copics, and mounted her on the mushroom, after cutting around it. I matted on an oval which was run through a dotted folder, and blinged with Fruit Punch Stickles.








I used Stickles again on my Roses, Fruit punch on the red ones, and Stardust on the yellowish rose.


Swirls are done by me, using three differernt sizes of rhinestones. I also distressed the vanilla dotted Magnolia paper with Aged Mahogany distress ink. For the inside I stamped another mushroom, and used the "beautiful" sentiment on the side. I embellished with some red dewdrops, heart-shaped pearls and some mini red rhinestones on the inside panel.

Rop/BnW DT - Challenge 38

Happy Monday everyone!! Jeez... the weeks are flying by, and we're already in the middle of May! It seems we just celebrated Christmas..gosh!!

It's also time for another Rop/ Bnw Challenge, and this one is special for me.. as it's our 38th chalenge.. and in two months time I will be 38 myself! ROFL :) Not a thing to be proud of usually, but age is a God given grace, so!!! :)

This time it's Anki's turn to host the challenge, and our wonderful, talented Anki wants to see : Gifts - gift bag, box, gift set ... whatever you think of when you hear those words :)








Fun!! I managed to do a Magnolia gift set.. I can never have enough of my Maggies.. too cute to be left uninked!! I used some scraps of Magnolia paper (although I can't get myself to use them for the insides.. too precious to be left hidden !! LOL


Tilda with Roses was coloured in Copics, and matted with white watercolour paper, which first was Distressed with Tattered Rose Distress ink, and then using Antique Linen I stamped a Grunge Stempelglede stamp on the opposite showing corners.







I used Magnolialicious Highlites sketch for May, and I will also enter the Just Magnolia challenge: which is One for the girls ;)







This is a detail of the colouring on Tilda, and you can see that I also added her a rhinestone earring.. cuuute!!

Rhinestones and Brad are Basic Grey, and together with the Magnolia large roses found on my project, are found at Roses on Paper, like most of the material I used on this card. I highlighted the materials I used from there with direct links, for your convienience, should you want to try them out yourself! They make everything soo much easier!! Yeah.. you "need" them, don't you? ;) Go and visit Summer's store. She just brorught some more yummy goodies is.. including the new Basic Grey paper packs! Yum!! :) You can also pre-order the next Magnolia Ink Magazine, that will come out in a few weeks' time.

Thet gorgeous sentiment Spellbinder's die- cut was sent to me by dearest Sheila, (thank you sweetie!), isn't it gorgeous? It gave the card the perfect elegant touch.






As for the gift bag I used the same image and flowers, but the papers I used are the same as the ones I used on the card's inside panels. I think they are Papermania, but I am not sure. On some of the photos they look as if they're pink, but IRL they are deep red, and match perfectly the red on the Magnolia paper.

Jolly Roger Tilda - Roses on Paper DT

Hope you are having a wonderful weekend!

I am back with another Magnolia card, this time for Just Magnolia, which are featuring Bev's lovely sketch; and My Time to craft Challenge, which want to see lot of red on our creations.








Well the wonderful sketch I followed has an oval in the middle. Bev, I hope it's alright with you that I played with the shape. Instead I started with a rectangular shape, coloured my gorgeous Jolly Roger Tilda, and distressed the background with Antique Linen. I also used Walnut Stain on the ground, and some Star dust Stickles on some of Tilda's clothes, the skull on the flag and on the ground as well :)

When that step was finished, I burnt the edges with matches, to resemble an antique picture, or part of the pirate's treasure map. If I had more time I would have designed a scroll behind Tilda.. maybe sometime!! ;)

Last step was stamping grunge shapes in the outer edges.. and I was pleased how it turned out.

Finally I embellished with two vintage gold coloured buttons, after I cut off the loops of the back. Raffia lace is from Quixotic Paperie, the DP is from BG Indian Summer. I loved the deep reds, black branches and leaves on the edges and intricate designs on this one, it seems that the pirates landed on some deserted island with lost forests.. am I imaginative or what? :))







For the inside I stamped Just for you sentiment. Then I doodles Matey in a "piratey" way.. sorry for the word! :) I decided on that because I had made "Ahoy" rubbed on the image's side.. and I also doodled some lines and crosses as if it was a map the pirates are following. I have a ship or two as well ...lol. Sorry, I'm very playful this weekend :)

Ladybug Tilda does some challenges

Hello my firends! This is my second posting today. I want to share with you this Ladybug Tilda, which I made for some of my favourite challenges combined together :)

I coloured Tilda with Copics, and I was a good girl and tore some Magnolia papers! Ah this was sooo hard to do! But I gritted my teeth, close my eyes and chopped!! :) I used Red Plaid (A little Yummy for Your tummy), Red Cherries and Vanilla Dots(Lazy Summer Days) .


Then I distressed all papers with Vintage Photo. For the doily lace border I used my Martha Stewart punch, and added some lace for a more feminine look. In the middle of the lace I threaded a thin piece of red ribbon, to match.







To embellish I used red half pearls, pearly hearts, Magnolia and Bridal Craft flowers, Magnolia foliage and a cherry charm, to coordinate with the paper.







The white flower was given some Pearl glimmer mist treatment, and I also distressed its edgeas with Fired Brick Ink.





Finally I made a swirl with three different sizes of rhinestones. Sentiment is Making Memories rub on. I hope you like it, and that you let Maggie know if you do. Have a lovely week ;)

ROP/BNW Challenge 36 - Sketch

I am sorry that I'm late posting this challenge. I should have uploaded this yesterday, but I had no chance. Yesterday we started a new challenge for ROP/BNW challenge blog. This time it is wonderful and talented Iris' choice, and she did a lovely sketch for us. I like sketches that can be interpreted in lots of ways, so it was lovely to work on this.


I used Basic Grey's Marrakech papers for some strong colours, and my gorgeous Tilda with the newly hatched Chick... which you can find in Summer's Store here.







I love my Maggies, and can't seem to put them down right now! But I also love our gorgeous BnW stamps, and I have something new,which I finished yesterday, to show you with these stamps maybe next time :)






The blue Magnolia flower was sprayed with Fall Breeze Glimmer mist.



I coloured the image with these Copics. Sentiment is a clear stamp Studio G. Ribbon and bling from my stash. All lovely Magnolia flowers used here can also be found in Summer's Store, here.
