Christmas in September- a HAnglar card

ETA: This card made the top three at Sweet Sketch Wednesday !! Thank you girls!

Happy Sunday my dear friends.

I hope you had a wonderful week, and that today you will have sufficient time to relax and gear up for another wonderful week.

We had a couple of thunderstorms this week during the night, and that means that I am so much happier with fresh air that helps you feel strong, and not stuffy all the time.

Today I am going to share with you a HAnglar card I made. It is Christmassy, but not in a traditional way. This had to be my second Guest Designing card for Lovely Hanglar only challnge blog, but last week I forgot we had the challenge (Eek!) and so I lost my chance it seems to put it on the challenge blog. So.. I am posting it here, and put it in a challenge or two.

I coloured my image with Copics, and with my white gel pen I added lots of snow :)
Papers I used are Eva, from Basic Grey, and the other stuff is from my stash. I used star jewels, flower, lilac ribbon to make a bow and added a snowflake charm, and a couple of die cut swirls. The sketch I used is from Sweet Sketch Wednesday.

Lovely Hanglar Only GDT

Happy Sunday my friends. I hope it has been a blessing-filled week for you, and that you are geared for a new week. I also hope you are enjoying Summer, whatever Season it is wherever you live.

Today I am sharing with you my first of two cards as Guest DT member for Lovely HAnglar only challenge blog. If you are a frequent visitor of my Blog, you might know that these stamps are my favourite line of stamps, together with Magnolia and EB stamps.

Today's challenge theme we have for you is a colour theme, and Ilona has chosen Pink and Grey. Wow.. what a combo! I had fun making my card, not an everyday combination, and these HAnglars are perfect for a girlie, classy creation.

This is what I came up with :)

I have used Capella DP from Basic Grey, and the middle piece is from the Sugared line. Dark grey papers for matting are Core'dinations line.

Pink rose is from Magnolia, and the smaller grey roses are Prima, form Bunny-Zoe's. I coloured my imae using Copics, and added quite some bling and accents. The tag behing the image is made from a Clear stamp from Stampology (another Birthday item from Iris' lovely BRAK :)))

I stamped it directly on DP, using Staz- On ink, and I can use the upper part, or the behind for a personalised message. I added some bling on the centre of the flowers. Cool, huh? :)

I hope you like it, and that you'll let me know what you think of this cutie. Thank you for welcoming me back after my short vacation, and I hope you'll check out the fantastic Pink and Grey creations on Lovely HAnglar Only Challenge Blog. I look forward t see your amazing creation there. Remember that only HAnglar images are permitted in our challenge.

Mojo mojo.. where art thou? Finally! a card!

EDITED TO READ: This card won the Lovely Hanglar Challenge, and I get to be Guest Designer for them soon.. as a prize! YAY! Thank you girls!! :)

Happy Thursday everyone.

I thank you for coming to visit me today, and for spending some time reading what I have to share. This week we had a lot of activities here, and gosh.. my mojo went on vacation. It MUST be the extreme heat. It leaves me no energy to finish anything!

Thank God that one of the sisters needed a thank you card that I HAD to finish, so finally I have some thing to share. It is a HAnglar card, and I used
sketch and Stash's sketch for my card. I will also enter this card in Lovely HAnglar only: glitter, and also Papertake Weekly, which have an open game for: Anything goes.

I am getting sleepy as I'm writing this, so I'm keeping it short and sweet. But I'll be back with a couple of photos of lovely RAKs I received for my Birthday, which was last Saturday.

Have a lovely weekend, and a BIG SPECIAL Birthday hug to two of my wonderul friends who have their birthday today: Jacque and Mo Manning. Love you both, and I hope you have a year filled with Blessings from above.

Love and Smiles!

A HAnglar creation for a friend.

Happy Monday my dear Blogging Friends!

First of all I want to
THANK YOU
all for visiting my Blog. During the weekend my Counter turned to
50 000
and so I am so very grateful to you for each visit you make me here. I really appreciate the wonderful worldwide friendships that I so treasure, and this through this Blog. Thank you for enrichingmy life with your presence, comments and RAKS. Hugs to all of you xx
I am here to share with you a HAnglar card I made for a friend of mine who commisioned some cards from me. I started by Colouring this darling image with Copics and then used Friday Sketcher's sketch to build my card. I really like a simple sketch nowadays, where you can leave the paper design showing.

To embellish I used a couple of purple butterflies and flat back pearls, to which I added glue dots. The lace was in my stash and the flowers are Magnolia white (the large rose) which can be pirchased from Roses on Paper, and the others are Prima (from Bunny Zoe's Store)

On the white rose and green roses I sprayed Olive Greem Glimmer Mist, and then I added Gold Stickles Glue on the edges of the large rose.

Finally I added a lovely sentiment which you can find as a Freebie, with so many more, at Paulette's Blog, and added a piece of Magnolia Chandelier (is that what you call it?) :)

I love the cute effect it gives.

I hope you will be showered with Blessings this week, do think positive and spread Love around you. Giving out your handcrafted cards is one way, sharing what you have (like sending out a RAK) is another way.. leaving an encouraging comment on someone's work is also a lovely act of love. I will enter this card for the lovely HAnglar only Challenge for this fortnight. I just LOVE these stamps.

Early this morning I was already blessed in this way. The lovely Lols sent me a RAK that i so appreciated, and a huge smile is on my face. Thank you Lols xx

Some challenges!

Happy Sunday my blogging friends!

We have a rainy weekend here, and I'm thankful for that. We didn't really have a winter here this year,we had lots of warm days, so I'm not really looking forward fo our scorching heat Summer yet!

Anyhow, I have this card to share with you today. I used one of the fantastic HAnglar images my friend Sonja sent me. Thank you sweetie xx

I colored this cutie with Copics, and used Sketch and Stash sketch to build my card. I looked for a simple sketch because I really fell in love with this DP, which also this friend of mine sent me , and I didn't want to hide it behind other layers. So that particular sketch worked fine for me. My newn stash is this image and the Designer paper, also the green organza ribbo I bought frm our local craft shop). I also used Green with Brown and Pink colour combo, to participate at Simon Says Stamp's challenge as well. I will also enter it foe the following ongoing challenges: My Time to Craft; who want vivid cards, and Stampavie, who has the theme: Birthday card for a girl.

On the girl's hearts (even on the tiny ones on her shoes) I used Crystal Lacquer to give them shine and dimension. I also embellished with olive green organza ribbon, (and a pink one on top) from my stash, a rhinestone brad, and some Prima flowers and Roses.

This is the inside view. I didn't want to hide the DP (again), so I made the jotting white panel in the bottom space. I hope you like it. Thanks for coming here today, I am so grateful for the lovely comments you leave me. They spread a huge grin on my face. Huggies to all.

Blessings and Smiles!!

Hiya there!

I'm back again with another card for you today, and yes you read right, It can fit into 7 challenges (I found even another one but then 7 is enough!! :))

When I checked Sketch Saturday's sketch this morning, I instantly fell in love, and I immediately wanted to use this HAnglar stamp with it. Even more so when I saw the prize for this week's challenge. This is the only HAnglar stamp I own, and I had won it some weeks ago from a challenge. I LOOOVE these cute gals:)

Well, I coloured this image with Distress ink refillers on watercolour paper.

Backgound done with Weathered Wood
.

Papers are BG Wistria papers (they are almost finished.. sigh!!) and the different sized Rhinestones are also BG.

The cute flower is from La Blanche...lovely texture :), and the ribbon is from Quixotic Paperie. Sentiment is Studio G clear stamp, stamped with Memento Rich Cocoa ink.

A Two Fer HAnglar Card - ROP DT

Happy Saturday my friend!

I am glad that you have decided to come and visit here today, I have a card to share with you. This is a HAnglar image that was sent to me by a dear friend. Thank you sweetie, I know you'll read this ;)

I wanted to use the fab sketch on Friday Sketcher's this week, and I saw him lovely with some blacks and blue greens. I think they fit him marvellously, don't you think?

I coloured this charming guy with Copics and used Basic Grey's Urban Prarie papers with him.The other smaller piece is from the folder of my left over pieces; I don't remember the name of the paper. Then for two of the corners I used a corner punch, and I matted on black paper. Before that, I distressed the edges with Dried Marigold Distress Ink, and stamped some bits of flourishes randomly around the edges.

The orange flower in the corner is from Prima, and the white one on top is an embroidered flower. The centre brad is Basic Grey. As you can see I used my mini machine to make holes around the edges of the panels, but those of the main DP are not easily seen on the Black colour.

Finally I added some mini gems, and decorated the insides. The jotting piece in the centre is another piece from the 12X12 pack of Urban Prairie, and the sentiment on the inside is from K& Co tin of sentiments. The lovely shiny dewdrops are from Summer's Store. You will find these, together with all the Basic Grey and Distress Ink I used from her lovely Roses on Paper Store. Yummy.. such lovely goodies there!!! If you are looking for something specific which is presently out of stock in the Store, don't hesitate to drop a line to Summer, she'll be glad to help you out :)

I will also enter this card for Cute Card Thursday, where they want to see metal used in our cards. I have my BG brad, so voila! :)

Have a lovely weekend, relax, smile.. and love God..your Father.. and mine!
