ROP/BnW Challenge 28- My challenge

Wow.. Christmas is over now, and we're all waiting for the new year to begin. Well, I'm not done yet with these Christmas Maggies, I like them too much to put the away till next Christmas. So you're seeing them again! :)

I want to present you our new Roses on Paper/ Belles 'nd Whistles Challenge, which today is hosted by me. I chose the theme :

Using your favourite colouring medium/s.

It's the end of the year, and I wanted an easy one, because I'd like to see some more entries. Remember to use stamps that are available at Summer's stores to be eligible for the prize.

I used the fabulous sketch done by Claudia for Friday Sketchers, it's a lovely one, and you can use it in many ways. I decded to flip it sideways, and to use lace flowers and this gorgeous Magnolia stamp, sent to me by Summer.

As for colouring mediums I combined both my favourite, Distess inks and Copics. I coloured her clothes with Copics, the others are distress inks. I used watercolour paper, and unluckily for me, her face part is showing a bit the paer's folds, veins.. whatever you call them. But IRL it doesn't make that much difference. The focus is on the flowers and the papers. This paer was sent to me by Sonja, so sorry, can't tell you what it is. The upper part is Core'dination paper, run through an embossing folder.

Sentiment is Stampin 'Up, and dewdrops from Roses on Paper store. The glittered snowflake is Papermania sticker.

These are views of the inside panels. Sentiment is done by computer, and the grunge stamp is obviously Stempelglede. I can't stop using them in a way or another! sorry!

Have a lovely week, and don't forget to join the fun at ROP challenge. I'd LOVE to hear what you think of my Maggie with candle, I'm getting a bit disheartened lately, only a few comments are being left, and i'm thinking that my cards are not that good anymore! I'd also love to see you participating there.

Thanks for looking

Hi Rosette
Never, ever worry that your cards aren't good enough. This one is beautiful and I love the way you have highlighted the stamped image in grey. Which colours and how did you do this.
Everyone is so busy at this time of year and I am sure lots of others will start to leave messages again.
Keep up the brilliant work
Hugs
