Sketch Saturday # 82

I have another card to share with you today, yes, another Christmas card!! Are you ready from doing Christmas stuff for this year? I have surely one more to go, because I have a Christmas Maggie I haven't used yet.. and I'm really itching to ink her up. Then I'll take a little break, but early next year.. (not much to go that is :)) I'll start doing them bit by bit, cause every year I end up too stressed up to finish commisions etc. And to help us out, there is another new challenge blog that will make it easier: It is the new ABC Christmas Challenge blog. Check it out yorself :)
This is another one of those commisioned cards.. and yes another "blue card"! I love this blue/ brown combo, don't you?

I used Stampavie's darling Nativity image for this card, and I coloured them with distress Inks. I wanted to use Sketch Saturday's sketch, because I liked it. Thank you gals! I used my sewing machine to stitch up the main panels, and used a doily lace for the rond part of the sketch. I have only left out the sentiment from the original sketch, and added a couple of flowers. I hope that counts! :0)

In the bottom I added a Star charm, and some half pearls in the upper right corner. The inside is also decorated to coordinate with the front. The sentiment on the upper panel is computer generated.

The word Peace from the lower panel sentiment is Coloured with Copics. I hope you like it. If I am not able to blog before Friday, I do wih you a very Blessed Christmas, filled with the Love and Peace that the Nativity brings, and that you will carry them with you all through 2010. A big big hug to you and your loved ones, and thank you for the wonderful gift of friendship you gave me all through this year.
God Bless you

Thanks for looking
