Have you ever seen a House Mouse in Love?

I have!! lol :0) Look at them... aren't they the cutest?? hehe She is also blushing! :) ♥♥♥
Can you beleive that I've been doing this card since Monday.. bit by bit.. half an hour or so everyday??! That was what I could afford this week! Eek!!
On House Mouse Challenge blog this week they want to see Polka Dots.I hope that this paper is okay for the dots! I fell in love with it, and I wished to use it. I also wanted badly to colour some mice.. but I had to colour two different images, as the first one was too large. Will use it next time :) The heart was originally a clothes' label.

I had to alter it, but I liked the scalloped edge as soon as I saw it :) ♥ I hope that you like it...

A Forever Young Hanglar

This is my most favourite card I think... we often say that... but it came out really well .. I think at least.I'm not 100% with the picture. I will try to change it tomorrow, but for tonight it can do. I love it first of all maybe it's because my first Hanglar card... and I LOVE ♥ these images.. secondly because it is with Basic Gray papers (and I love also these) and it really shines. This is Lim's Birthday card :))
JUST FOR YOU SWEETIE!♥ lol

That's because I only knew a couple of days ago that it was her Birthday today, and I told her that it's inpossible to get a card from here to Florida in 2 days, so she has to have a late card. She said she didn't mind!lol so .. at least it's like I e-gave it to you on your Birthday hehe

I hope you like it dear.. you'll actually receive it don't worry! I should think you'll like it.. it has Hanglar, and it has lots of bling! :) And it says "Forever Young!!" What should you want more??? :)))

Sending you lots of hugs xx

The image is coloured in glitter pens and watercolour for the face , hands and shoes. The background is sponge coloured with three different inks : first mustard/dark yellow, then outer outline with lighter shade of green, the outline with dark shade of green. I had this idea of putting some flourish peel offs before started to ink, and when it was dry I took them off gently. It came really beautiful, do you agree??

Designer Paper: Basic Grey Two Scoops (available from Roses on Paper)

Cupcake Challenge 15- Sweets and Treats

Wow! Another week has gone, and we're already a week before Advent time.. in a few weeks' time it will be Christmas! :0) Anyway, today is Monday.. another Cupcake C challenge. I would like to thank everyone who participated in last week's challenge, and made a card on my sketch. I was really happy about every entry. It wasn't like the week before, where we had 36 entries, but there was no prize for grabs, so I thought that it would be less entered.
This week it was Sarah's turn to set the challenge, and she chose this theme.

"So the challenge this week is sweets & cakes, it can be anything a card, scrapbook page, 3d project as I said anything it just has to feature sweets or cakes in some way! "

I used a Whipper Snapper image to create this card. The image was soloured with watercolours, and I added sparkle to the cherry. This one is quite greedy, don't ya think??! I don't like these types of cakes.. I prefer chocolate!! :) ♥

Papers are from a RAK and they really helped the image stand out. I matted the papers on pink and mint green cardstock, while the image is layered on pink cardstock and brown bazill. Finally I added 3 pink rhinestones, faux stitching, and some organza. Sentiment is computer-generated, cut with nesties. Here I also added stitching, gems and a small fower with green mini brad. I also added bling to the word cherry. Voila' !! Anyone fancies a treat??

So go to Cupcake C Challenge blog, and make our mouth water with some "sweet" entries!! :)
By the way, today is Lim's Birthday!!! Go to her Blog and wish her all the Best.. she deserves it!! :) You're an amazing friend Lim, your blog candy has started a very beautiful friendship for which I'm very grateful to you and to the Lord.

We had to use either floral paper, or include flowers in the creation. I did both! I simply fell in ♥ with this card :) It turned out beautifully, more than I had in mind!! :) Must be because I am very happy today! :)) I will have something beautiful to share with you in a few days' time!! ;)

Friday Sketchers Challenge

Hi, hope that everyone is in good health, and that you're having a lovely week so far! :) Today I'm going to share with you a card I made this weekend, following the lovely sketch that talented Mumur has created. You can find it on Friday's Sketchers challenge blog here. I used this lovely Sarah Kay image ... it is one of my most favourite!! These cuties are amazingly sweet!! I really had fun colouring them in ;)
Thank you Summer :0)

I used Papermania Naughty but Nice Christmas papers, and a piece of self coloured piece of tissue for layering the top left piece. I chose to distress all the layers, and I really liked the effect ♥

The main image is coloured with watercolours, and I used some glitter pens to highlight some details : their bows, the candle light glow, and the hollies.
I also used antique linen distress ink for their music papers, their shoes and dabbed around the image; after I roughly tore the edges for an antique feel. (Long sentence this!! lol)

If you would like to try this stamp for yourself (and you will not regret it!), you can purchase it at http://www.rosesonpaper.com

As embellies, for the bottom corner I used a fely snowflake, highlighted with pink ink at the edges, a small pink rose, and two holly leaves at the back (Papermania).
It is quite an unusual combination, but I liked the final result. I'm good at these kind of combinations!! :)

For the top left, I used a piece of lace for a corner, then I topped it up with another felt snowflake. I pinned it in place with a silver star brad and a pink rhinestone.

I hope that you like it, thanks for looking and reading this post. We all have a reason to sing our thanks and praise to Jesus, like these sweet little "angels" are doing. He is God with us!!

I hope that you are joining us at the Cupcake Craft challenge Blog this week, we have a sketch for you, and we are looking forward for your creations.

Blessings ♥

Cupcake Challenge * 14 - Sketch by me!

Okay, so Monday is here, and besides all of us having to start another busy week... it also means another Cupcake Craft Challenge. Yay!! This week, as I already told you, it's my turn to set the Challenge. I chose to combine a sketch, and some requirements to go with it. I designed the following sketch for us to follow :

The sketch can be turned sideways or at any angle you choose, added with any embellishments, and the sentiment is up to you, where and if you make one! BUT I would like you to include at least one scalloped edge in the card, and the card must include the colour BROWN somewhere (light brown, dark brown.. whatever).. it can be in the image, in the paper, embellishments, or all of them.

This is the card I made for this challenge.

It is a large card, an A4 scored in half, but very much detailed. I used white cardstock, and layered the DP on blue card. I handstitched the two panels behind the image, and added two corners in the negative design.

When that was set, I coloured in this lovely Magnolia image, sent to me by lovely Summer in pencil colours, and added depth and shade on the rose with glitter pen colour picked with a damp brush. It is very glittery in real life, but the photo didn't get that well.

Then I chalked the edges of the image, and stamped some swirls and doodles in blue. After that, I distressed with Antique Linen Ranger ink. When that was done with, I matted on brown cardstock, then dotted light brown paper, and then blue. On the last layer I included the scalloped edge with the Martha Stewart doily lace punch.

I mounted the main image on 3D foam tape, but before sticking I added a piece of brown satin ribbon and a two hearts charm, which was included in Bev's blog candy.

Being very fascinated by Rhinestone swirls seen on other bloggers' creations, I always wished they would be available here... but nothing to do! So I designed a swirl with a light pencil line, and made one myself!! :) I confess that I love it!! It consists of 36 rhinestones, and it stood out beautifully ;) lol

On the other side I embellished with flowers.

Two sizes of Papermania fabric flowers, and a couple of spacers that were also in the blog candy. Now I have only 1 left!!! :)lol Behind the flowers I added a cardstock swirl and a computer generated ticket with the sentiment that says : "Lovely Birthday Wishes".

When all was mounted and ready, I added silver glitter glue to the image's and the card's edges for some shine, and glittered also Tilda's wings..
I hope you like this card, and that it inspires you to join us in this week's challenge as well.Go th the challenge blog, and while you're there check what the other DT members have created. Check out also their blogs for more ispiration. I am very looking forward, as this is my first ever sketch, to see your interpretation of my challenge. Good luck, and thanks for finding the time to visit, and for the wonderful comments you leave. I really appreciate them!

As always, I wish you all a lovely week, full of health, peace, joy and love. The Blessings of the Lord be with you and your loved ones always.xxx

It's a Boy! :)

Today I made a commisioned card for my sister. She needs a card for a soon-to-be-born Baby Boy. It is not my everyday stuff to make Baby cards, but I really loved doing this cutie :)
I started panicking when I came to actually start doing the card, and I realised that I had no cardstock or DP adapted for a Baby boy card, only a couple of too small scraps, so I had to think for a while what to do (as it's Saturday evening, and I don't find open craft shops).
Anyway, after some time, I decided to download backgrounds from a digital scrapbooking site, and printed the white cardstock from both sides. If you click on the main image you'll see the large light blue spots on the white card, and further down, you'll see the inside of the card, differently printed with blue background and white stars. I love it!!
When I settled the cardstock issue, I coloured in the brand new Pink Petticoat Sweet Cheeks image in water-colours and distress ink for the wheels.

I heat embossed the pram with clear embossing powder mixed with glitter, and coloured "It's a Boy!" with glitter pen.. I matted the image on yellow cardstock, and punched two different colours with the Martha Stewart LOVELY doily lace punch that darling Lim sent me.

Isn't it lovely?? :) That super-cute pacifier tied with the double- ribbon bow is also a gift of Lim. Finally i added some pastel buttons and a sentiment in coordinating colours..

I hope that you're having a lovely weekend, and that next Monday you'll be back here, cause as I told you, it's my turn to set this week's challenge at Cupcake Craft Challenge Blog.

P.S. Can someone solve the mystery i have??? Why do the cards seem like they are not straight in photos, when they actually are??? :/

Spotted Penny Black!

Another week has gone by, and I didn't have any chance to make a card from last Sunday! That wasn't such a lovely week(from that aspect, because obviously I made more important things!! :)! But I did post, but I was disappointed a bit as I only had few comments that gave me feedback about the subject I asked help for. Anyway, here is another week and it's Monday! :) That means another Cupcake Craft challenge. This is already the 12th Challenge, and this week's it was Lauren's turn. She chose the theme Spots and Dots.

We'd like to see lots of large, small spots and dots on your creation. You can make a card, ATC, alter something, but it has to have spots!!

While I was going through my papers to choose a spotty one, I found this blue dotty and spotty lively Paper. It's cute and makes you feel full of life :)
So I had to find a cute and lovely image to go with it. This cutie hedgehog was shouting to be coloured. First I said no, and put him aside to chose a Magnolia (yes, one of the lovely new ones that arrived this week at my home) :)
but Mr.Hedgie wouldn't let me!! He got stubborn, and gave a temper tantrum!! He said he was also ready stay still and to pose for the photo, and darling he did!! :)

He's quite a cute one, and he looks so comfy!! Ahhh he just knows how to relax :)

Anyway, I hope it inspires you to go and look for some spotty papers and embellies, and take part in this week's challenge. Next week it will be my turn to decide the challenge, and I already have something prepared for you! I will try to make a sneak peek this week! ;)

I also made some hand stitching in this card. I love this technique, I find it creates a lovely feel and effect on the project. Now off to clear up the mess :)
Have a lovely week friends! Take care, and show your loved ones how much you care for them :0)
God bless

Magnolia vs Stampavie- 1st Challenge

As you know Donna has combined two of the Challenge Blogs into one, and the 1st challenge set in this new Magnolia vs Stampavie Challenge blog is a lovely sketch set by Jayjay! This is one lovely sketch that tempts you right away to try it out, at least it had that effect on me! :) But it took me 3 days to finish this card.. bit by bit. 1st I drew an image of Tilda with the balloons, but after I finished it and embellished the image with doodles etc.. I figured out that it was too tall to fit the sketch!

Anyway i put it away to use it another time. then I had this Tilda on a framed rectangle, and as I was sponging the outer sides I managed to do quite some blotches, which I didn't like at all!! So I cut around it! I think it worked well after all!! Now, before I uploaded the post I took the photos and edited them. When all was set to be uploaded, I noticed that I had forgotten to colour the wings!!! Oh my dear!! Off to remedy!!

... Now that's better!! Here you go!! I think Tilda is shaking her head... is she??! lol I must be off to bed I think! :)
Anyway.. I hope you like it!

Dp is from K & Co
Flowers from stash
Rayher Pastel mini brads
Sentiment form Brenda Walton - K & co
Glitter glue for wings
glitter pens for spots on top and hair band
Ribbon from stash
heart ws with susie's prize, sorry don't know

I'm sure that many of you will try this sketch out, as all the stamps that can be used at this new Challenge Blog are very much loved by all of us! Thanks for looking friends, and Peace to you and all your families ;)

Cupcake Craft Challenge 11- Inspiration!

This is the new theme at CCC Blog this week, and for this week our talented Jilly chose this piture for our inspiration. You can choose to do anything you like, using whatever you want from the picture..
"You can interprate the inspirational picture in any way you wish as it is there just for inspiration. Maybe you just want to use the colours or maybe the design or something totally off the wall it's your choice." Well, go over and have a look, and have a go yourself. We'd love to see your creation again for this week's theme.

Okay, here is a start of a new week.. get ready for quite a long post!! Have some things to tell you :)

Well in this week's DT entry : I chose to make a card based on three main colours in this picture : pink, blue and yellow. I had a shiny, glittery paper that was sent to me in a BRAK and I decided that it fitted what I was looking for. I also decided that it was time to use again one of the Magnolia images that was sent to me .I was noticing that I had only a few left now, so wasn't using them very often - lol! But now I know that I have some travelling over the seas and oceans to me.. so I can afford to use some more!! :o)

First I cut and sponged with pink ink a large scalloped circle, and when that was over and done with, I pencil- coloured Tilda, cut around it and mounted it in the middle of the scalloped shape. I glued the main DP on white cardstock with double-sided tape and after that layered a piece of pink chequed DP in the bottom left hand corner. Then I embellished with a piece of white lace, just to give it some elegant touch. After that, I mounted the large lace flower and the small pink ones and when that was ready, I decorated the showing piece of scallop with pink gems.

Next step was that I made my first hand-made (or rather computer made) ticket!! And this thanks to the perfect tutorial presented by my lovely friend Catherine on her Blog. My friend Catherine ... God bless you, you rock!! I really loved that tutorial, and she even went to the trouble of putting translations for me when I told her I couldn't understand it!! I can tell you that it won't be my last! :)
Go and check it out, you'll find it here!

You like it??
