Spotted Penny Black!

Another week has gone by, and I didn't have any chance to make a card from last Sunday! That wasn't such a lovely week(from that aspect, because obviously I made more important things!! :)! But I did post, but I was disappointed a bit as I only had few comments that gave me feedback about the subject I asked help for. Anyway, here is another week and it's Monday! :) That means another Cupcake Craft challenge. This is already the 12th Challenge, and this week's it was Lauren's turn. She chose the theme Spots and Dots.

We'd like to see lots of large, small spots and dots on your creation. You can make a card, ATC, alter something, but it has to have spots!!

While I was going through my papers to choose a spotty one, I found this blue dotty and spotty lively Paper. It's cute and makes you feel full of life :)
So I had to find a cute and lovely image to go with it. This cutie hedgehog was shouting to be coloured. First I said no, and put him aside to chose a Magnolia (yes, one of the lovely new ones that arrived this week at my home) :)
but Mr.Hedgie wouldn't let me!! He got stubborn, and gave a temper tantrum!! He said he was also ready stay still and to pose for the photo, and darling he did!! :)

He's quite a cute one, and he looks so comfy!! Ahhh he just knows how to relax :)

Anyway, I hope it inspires you to go and look for some spotty papers and embellies, and take part in this week's challenge. Next week it will be my turn to decide the challenge, and I already have something prepared for you! I will try to make a sneak peek this week! ;)

I also made some hand stitching in this card. I love this technique, I find it creates a lovely feel and effect on the project. Now off to clear up the mess :)
Have a lovely week friends! Take care, and show your loved ones how much you care for them :0)
God bless

I love your spotted and dotted card! It's great with your handstitching!

When it comes to the question in your last posting I must say I'm a bit concerned about this EMO-thing. The first time I heard about the word EMO was on Halloween when five girls from my son's class came trick or treating on our door. They had dressed up in black and put on some black and white make-up. They looked a lot like withes, but they told me they were EMOs. Afterwards my son told me what that is! I am horrified that a twelve year old boy knows more about this thing than his mother!! What has become of the world?? Do they really think this is a cool thing? Don't they understand what's the danger in all this? They are just kids!!!!

I haven't got any advice or solution to you, Rosette, but I want you to know that I share your concerns!

I hope you'll have a great day!

Hugs, Kristin :)

I love your card...I am a big PB fan although like you the Magnolia's and sugar nellies have taken over a bit!!

I can't offer any wisdom on your request for help - sorry - in fact you know more about it than me...I hope you do not come any closer to the problem though!

Thanks for joining my candy and for linking me up - good luck! bx
