I hope you are having a lovely week, the weekend is very near.
Today I would like to share with you an easel card I made with this cute Tilda. It is very fitting for this time of the year :) There are quite a lot of challenges with the "Love/Valentine" theme, so I had a perfect excuse to use it :) I wanted also to make my second easel card.. they are lovely, aren't they?
I coloured Tilda with Copics and cut around the image. I then mounted it on an oval nestie, after I distressed the middle with Tattered Rose.
Then I embellished with some blue green braid, which I passed through the oval shape. After that I added a piece of lace underneath and decorated with Prima roses. Finally I added dewdrops, more flowers in the bottom corner (as I turned the sketch around).
Last, I finished it with some pearl hearts, and some Stickles on Tilda's dress for some bling.
For lovely Magnolias , dewdrops, Stickls and Prima flowers take a hop to Roses on Paper. You will see what lovely things you'll find there!! It is always so hard to get away from there!!
I hope you like my card, and let me know what you think. I want to wish a Happy Birthday again to dear Summer, owner of Roses on Paper and Belles 'nd Whistles. I would like also to remind you of my blog candy, which runs till the 16 th February. You can click on the picture you find on the upper right hand corner of the blog. It will take you directly to the candy post.
