Happy Sunday everyone!
I hope you're having, or you had a marvellous Sunday, and a lovely weekend filled with Blessings and joy! I hope you also took some time to thank the Lord for all the graces that He showers upon us all the time.. in many forms.
Yesterday I was happy to present you a lovely girl.. new release, lovely Anya (and Ian). Today I'm brimming with pride to present you the gorgeous, lovely Belle in all her beauty and Splendour.
This is Sunshine and Apples ; one of the six gorgeous stamps just released by Belles 'n Whistles. As many of you can detect, even from the first time you see her.. this is an image drawn by the super-talented Elisabeth Bell. I'm so proud to be the first one to present her to you!!! :) You can tell that I'm in love!!! Look at her lovely, breezy outfit.. and that flip-flops.. aren't they marvellous!! Elisabeth you're awesome!!! :)
Edited on Wednesday to Read: I saw that this card fits perfectly for A Spoon Full of Sugar challenge, where the theme is floral (to use flowers).. well I'm enterig this there :)
I spent about three hours drawing this beauty, bit by bit, with Distress Inks and refillers. I LOVED layering and making the shadows on her body, it is my favourite part of colouring! :) Maybe it is because it reminds me of my Art classes :)
The papers I used are from Jesse Edwards and Daisy and Dandelion. They have gorgeous rich colours. I also used a Fiskars heart border punch, and layered lots of flowers, leaves and branches with the MS punch. This is to give the effect like you are watching Belle walking from behind a tree or something like that. Even if in the photos it doesn't really show (as it was dusk when I took the photos) but the sky is Broken China blue, and there's a lot of Sunshine. Would you like one of her apples? Belle likes to share!!
I added Basic Grey pearls and also a BG brad as well. For the flower centres I used pearl brads , and voila! She ready to shine!!
Do you like her?? or better.. do you "need her"?
You can go and purchase her here, and see the other beauties in the Store for grabs. Gosh they are amazing! I can't wait to ink them all up!! Summer has really given us the best!! The packaging of the stamps is just as gorgeous! Just go and see for yourself! Also, I don't want to forget to mention; there are already retail stores who will be carrying B&W stamps.
