Rop DT- Challenge 19

I hope that you're eyes wide awake, had your cuppa, and ready for another challenge :)

Roses on Paper, (now challenge blog has also incorporated the Belles 'n Whistles
stamps) is ready to present you another fresh challenge, set by our lovely Peta:

Sketch + Punches

Good Monday Lovely People!!

Yes Peta wants you to use your decorative punches.. set loose your creativity, and select a sketch from any challenge you want. Yes you're FREE to combine this challenge with any sketch challenge that allows you to do so.

The only rules are that:

1. You must use ONLY stamps that are from the ranges found in Roses on Paper Store: that is Magnolia, Alota, Belles 'n Whistles and TGF stamps ONLY.

2. You must link your blog post to Roses on Paper Challenge Blog.

We are very much looking forward for some punches fun :)
You have till the 6th September to enter your creation.

Now let's talk about my card.
I have used Tilda with Ladybug for my card. I love this stamp, and I'm sorry that lately I have neglected my Maggies, as I am focusing more on the new Belles ' n Whistles and Club Anya stamps
But these Maggies are always so cute, aren't they?

I plucked up courage again and coloured her with my Copics :)
I hope that I am improving a bit.. I didn't get much tips last time I asked, so I have to try and do better myself I think! lol I used mostly my reds and Blue Greens this time. It isn't that bad I think.. but still not perfect :) Ahh I am always so fussy abour colouring!! I don't change :)

As for papers I used Basic Grey's June Bug ( lovely pack this one, especially those dotted papers, love the rich olour and distressed feel.) On the inside I also used a matching brad with a ladybug on :) so cute!

I went for the Just Magnolia sketch challenge this time, it was a lovely sketch, and I found some papers from the HOTP Papers, Earth Palette whose green matched the Basic Grey's so I used on of them for the circle on the bottom left, and I used one of the sentiment: "kindness" ,that was part of the pack. As you can see, I cut my circle with the nesties, and then I put it through my Big Shot with an ebossing folder. I made it the other way round, by mistake, but I think it looks cool like that. I like it better :)

Finally I added rhinestones, buttons and some Papermania (cream) and Prima flower. On top I embellished with the red sequin and rose star. I used my lovely branch punch for the outside. I love this punch :)

Click on each photo for a better view.

On the inside, as you can see I used more punches. I used the Martha Doily lace punch (yes I am still using iteven if it broken, couldn't part! lol). I added lace, and used my mini sewing machine around the panels. Then I added that cute vellum envelope. That is also a part of the HOTP Cardmaker Pack.

I stamped that diamond-shaped flourish stamp, and added mini rhinestones to add some shine. For the inside I printed a sentiment, which I distressed with Distress Inks, and stamped also with the flourish stamp.. also using the same distress Ink: aged Mahogany. I matted it , but before, I used a Fiskars corner punch to decorate the corners.

Dewdrops, flowers, faux stitching on the jotting panel and a small ladybug added for the final touch. This card took me quite some time, but I think it was worthed.

I wish you a lovely week, filled with lasting Peace and Happinees, and I hope that you will also make other people smile with your lovely creations. I thank you for supporting me and for leaving me your very appreciated comment. Even if you would want to know about any product, please don't hesitate to ask. Most of the products I used on this card, can be purchased from Roses on Paper online Store, where quality and service matters. You can find direct links to the Store by clicking on the highlighted products. Thanks :)
