Blog Hop of the Month- Mo's Digital Pencil

Hello my friends! It is 3rd Thursday of the month, and what does that mean?? That it's time again for the Mo's Dream Team Blog Hop of the month, and this time it was the lovely and talented Jak's turn to challenge the DT.

Now if you just landed here, and you don't want to miss the fun, go and get started from Jak's own Blog. If you came over from Elaine's Blog, then you are following the right order.

She wanted to see Stitches on our creations, real or faux. What a fun challenge!! I love stitching on my cards, but since my stitching is still not so straight, I decided to use faux stitching on my card today. :)

I've been dying to colour Two Tasha, so I decided to use her for this challenge. I just love doing "body shading", so she is a perfect match for me :))

Isn't Mo stupendous in capturing these children's expressions?? I love this image, and if you'd like to purchase this digital image too, you can find it in Mo's Store here

I coloured her with Copics, and used some Baby Blue Stickles to give her some shine. Here, in this photo you can see it better.

The paper I used was a double sided sheet I had. I matted them on blue cardstock, and embellished with some gorgeous flowers..a white rose, from Magnolia, and some blue rose buds from my stash. I distressed the white flower with
Vintage Photo Distress Ink. To create a contrast with blue, I used gold ribbon and yellow brads.

On the other side I punched an edge with a Martha Stewart doily lace punch, and embellished with some light blue bling and a half pearl. I also stamped a grunge edge with Atlantic blue ink with a Stempelglede stamp. I love the effect it gives.

On the inside I used the same papers and I stamped a sentiment on the jotting piece, adding also some faux stitches around the panels. Finally I finished with some flowers to add some interest.

Sentiment is K&Co.

Copics I used:

E000, 00, 11, 13, 21, 25, 31, 47, 49, 57, 95
R20, 83
B0000, 91, 95, 97
W00, 1, 3, 5

Detail of the colouring.

Challenges for this Card: Copic Creations : using your favourite tecnique (used the curly/ethnic air technique)
My time to Craft: Lovely lace
Totally Gorjuss: Sweet
