Happy Wednesday my friend!
I'm glad that you came by today, I want to share with you another card I have finished. This time as you can guess from the title, is another one of Mo Manning's fantastic digis.
This one is called Michael, and it is one of those images that captured my heart as soon as I saw it! This darling little angel is so relaxed and tender looking, I was feeling like stroking his hair while I was colouring him! He so reminds me of the kids in my care when they are fast asleep after a whole day!! He's definitely a must have!!!
I used KLSNS sketch for this week, as I saw that it fitted this image perfectly, for a cute Baby Boy card. I based my card on greens and soft oranges, and I'm really glad how it turned out. I will also enter it for Crafty Creations challenge, they want to see wings :) and also Creative Belli.. who require ribbons. I have both!! Finally.. it goes also for ABC Challenge, which have NEW as a theme. They want something new, and I have a new image.. it's the first time I used it.
I coloured with Copics, and cut myself a round matt using the outside of the circle die as a guide. I assembled the pieces and then came my favourite part: embellishing. I used those clear rhinestones in the corners, and green flat back pearls on the circle.
On the lower part I used two different ribbons, one on top of the other, and an angel charm, which went well with the theme. In fact, as you can see from this picture, on the back it says "made for an angel" Cute!!
The BOY letters are alphabet rub ons, and also the sentiment is a DCWV rub on, which I cut and matted, and embellished with tiny rhinestones.
The green baby paper is from DCWV as well if I'm not mistaken, the glittery paper with animals was sent to me by darling Lynda, so I don't know the name. Sorry.
Last, but not least, I added a splash of flowers.. it's so hard to do without! :)
The inside is kept simple, and I didn't add any particular sentiments. I left it as a jotting piece.
I hope you like it and tell me what you think of this cutie patootie :) SShh.. don't wake him up though!! :) You can purchase this one for yourself here, you won't be disappointed! I should warn you though, he sleeps a lot!!!
