ROP/BNW DT- Challenge 30

Hi again my friend!

I hope you had a lovely weekend, filled with sweet things and loved ones around you :) I am happy to welcome Modays that bring with them another ROP/BnW challenge. So fun to see what you come up with, and who wins the lovely prize that Summer gently gives away to one lucky random winner everytime!!








Today we are starting or 30th challenge- wow- and this time it was set by super talented Iris : She wants to see a Valentine related card, and gave us also a lovely sketch to try. I just LOVE sketches, the challenge they give you to make your original version of that sketch,and the fact that then it's so easy to build up everything else.. I couldn't not use it.

I used Sweet Love for my creation.. what else?? :) As you know it is one of the latest Sweet Things Collection from Belles 'nd Whistles. It can be used for Weddings, Anniversaries, Valentine's.. lots of opportunities that you can do with it. This particular card is already on its way, someone (can't tell you because the person who will recieve it may be reading! wink*) fell in love with this card and wants to use it for his wife :)

I used Papermania, DCWV matt stack and Basic Grey papers(the last ones for the inside)for this card. I coloured the image with Copics and cut the nestie to fit the image. Then I distressed the edges with Tattered Rose and Fired Brick Distress inks and matted with a paper doily.








Finally I embellished with white satin ribbon, a heart charm, hat pin and flowers.. What is a Valentine card without them?! :)







These are the inside panels, and I kept to the pink/red / white colour scheme. I hope you like it and that you get inspired to join us and get ready with some love cards to share with your friends , family and loved ones.
