Gorjuss Fairy Wishes

Wanted to share with you today this Gorjuss card I have finished today! The weekend is now very near, and I hope that I'll manage to do some more DT cards; but first I wanted to take part in a challenge. I decided to go at the Sugar bowl, where there is this lovely sketch by Marlene. I wanted also to ink the Gorjuss set, it was waiting very patiently :)


I paper pieced the Girl's skirt, and matched the paper with the main DP used in the card. The Papers are the lovely Papermania Blueberry Hill. The blue striped is a piece of another DP lying in my bits and pieces left overs folder.









I wanted to make the skirt look puffy, so what I did was I stuck glue dots in the edges of the skirt, and in the middle I used small foam pads. It worked fantastically! :)

I coloured the rest with the Distress inks, and I added flowers, ribbon and some dewdrops. The pink flower is a punch out: disressed and folded for some colour and dimension.









In the challenge we also had to add some doodling, and I almost forgot! Then I added some swirls, and I hand doodled some faux stitches and mini swirls around the sentiment.









For the inside I used the remaining piece of the paper, and I added a PC sentiment. I stamped a fairy, and added some embellies as well. Have a good evening/ night. I'm off for some Zzzz :)
