Joy in my Heart- Mo DT

Haooy Wednesday my friends!

I hope you are doing well in your life, and I hope you are taking the time to spread out and make some good. It brings you Joy that one can't explain.

Speaking of joy... last week in our Congregation we had a Religious Profession. Our novice, Abigail , made her first Holy Vows to God. You should have seen her wonderful joy, and big big grin! I wanted to share with you the card I gave her. I could not refrain from using this lovely image from Mo's wonderful Store: Joy
You can use it for any joyful occasion. I simply love it!

I coupled it with some soft coloured paper, Papermania did the trick :) Abi loves pink, so I HAD to put pink in it in some way! :)I left it quite simple, so that the image will be the centre of attantion.
I will enter it for the My Time to Craft Challenge, as they want to see something Simple and Cute. I think it qualifies, no?

This is the inside view. I printed a couple of messages, and added a background with swirls; which I touched with Stardust Stickles.

I hope you like it.

The winner of my BnW Blog Hop of last week is Renkata. Please e mail me dear, so that I will forward your details to Summer.

Have a wonderful week my friends!

Belles 'nd Whistles New Release Blog Hop

Thank you for coming again on my Blog, for another special occasion. Today I welcome you to another Belles 'nd Whistles Blog Hop. I'm so happy to present, with my lovely BnW buddies, another wonderful Collection which you can use for your winter cards:

This is the BnW "Snowbaby Collection".

But this Collection is a VERY special release for us BnW DT. As you know, October is Breast Cancer Awareness month, and we had our precious Jacque who, thank God, has just overcome her monster; but now we have also our dear Elise, who is fighting hard.. and we want to show them how much we care. We are dedicating this Blog Hop to them.

Also Summer has had the bright idea that, in honour of them both, from all the Snowbaby Collection Sales, 10% of the proceeds will go to the Breast Cancer Research. Isn't that wonderful, and an added reason why we would like you to buy these lovely Elisabeth Bell desgined stamps. Tomorrow it could be you, or me! So let us help by purchasing these stamps.

So, I invite anyone who would like to post this wonderful tag that Lynda has bravely done on your blog's sidebar with a link to BnW Store to do it, we can all do our little part for this very important and noble cause..

Now.. let's go to our Hop!!

If you have come from the wonderful and talented Iris' Blog, then you are right on track. If you just happen to be here, and you don't want to miss a thing, then start off at the Official Belles 'nd Whistles Blog. They are all so gorgeous, so I suggst you visit all the DT blogs; you can also win something lovely if you leave comments along the way ;)

The stamp that I am presenting you today is Snowbaby Snowball.

Isn't she a darling? I had so much fun colouring her! I love winter stamps.. so gorgeous for Christmas cards as well. I used some Christmas papers I had, lots of bling and shine, and Sketch Saturday's sketch.

After all that snow and the hours playing there, she needs some soup, and what is bettter than a quick Cup-A-Soup when you feel cold?! I always keep some handy ! This is Cream of Mushroom soup with Croutons :) Yum yum!

The good news is that Pre-orders for these stamps start today . No waiting, you can book yours by pre ordering from Belles 'nd Whistles Store. Orders will ship out beginning next Friday, October 29. If you live outside USA do check the shops where you can purchase your favourite BnW stamps, you will find the list on the Shop's site.

Now off you hop to Anki's Blog. She is awesome, I'm sure she'll have something wonderful to show you!

Have a wonderful time hopping, and remember... this time you're helping Breast Cancer Research when you buy BnW.

Smiles and Blessings

Mo's Digital Pencil POTM- Dream Team's One Year Birthday

Happy Thursday my dear friends

I hope you are all doing great, and that you are having a wonderful week. Today we are happy to announce that it's the First Birthday of the Dream Team :) and we are celebrating with this wonderful Blog Hop, in which you can all join!

This month's hostess is Kerttu, and the theme is Frogs and snails and puppy- dogs tails, that's what little boys are made of.. So if you just happen to be here and you want to start the hop from the beginning, head on to her Blog.

Basically our theme this month is to make a Boy's card, using one of the many fantabulous images from Mo's Lovely yummy Store.

For today's card I used Buds. I just love colouring this digi stamp... too cute!!!

I twinned it with Basic Grey Cappella paper, and some simple embellishments. Boy's cards are not my forte, but I like the result! Sentiment is also a digi stamp, from Paulette. The stars on the right are punch out, using Woodware star punch. Then I filled the blue mattig with Baby Blue Stickles, for some interest and shine. Ribbon, star brads, buttons and other sentiments, from my stash.

I hope we inspire you to use Mo's images together with the Boy's theme, and if you link your card on the Dream Team Blog, using the Inlinkz provided there, you will be joining us in our Huge Hop :)

I hope you let me know what you think of my card. Well you should have come from the wonderful Mina's Blog, and after you finish here, you can continue hopping to Arielle's fantastic Blog. I'm sure you're finding a lot of inspiration along the way.

Thank you for spending some time here, and for any comment you may leave. I am always happy to read what you think of my creations. May God bless you, and hope you join us in this wonderful celebration.

Smiles!!

Kneeling Belle- BnW DT

Happy Monday everyone!

I hope you have had a wonderful weekend, and that you are ready for some fantastic BnW sweeties. Today I have some wonderful news to share.. that has to do with BnW, and some other not so good as well.

But before all these news: Mette has not contacted me to claim her BnW stamp from our last Hop. I said I will leave till Monday, but I kindly left another week. I think now it's time I choose another winner. Soooo this time I chose Mary Lou.

Mary Lou I hope you will e mail me your address and the choice of stamp from the last Changabelles Collection.

Let's start with the fantastic news: Belles 'nd Whistles today is inaugurating a new challenge blog, set up fantastically by our lovely Lynda. We are super proud of it, it is a MUST SEE, and we'll be making our challenges there, as from today.

Also we are going to make our challenges every fortnight, like we had them before. In this way you will have more time to play, and today you will find a super prize for the first challenge. So GO AND CHECK it out.

For today's card I used three different stamps from the new Changeabelles Collection: Kneeling Belle, The Gathering Place, and the Gift, from the Gift and Table Accessory stamp.

The gift was stamped on a piece of Dp (the same I used on my card), and again on a piece of scrap from the matting cardstock. From this, I cut the ribbon and bow, and I glued it on top of the whole gift cutting from the DP. It has an awesome 3D look. Finally I added some polka dots with a white gel pen. I am explaining this just to give you some ideas how you can use these wonderful accessory stamps, and to show you their versatility.

I coloured this image with Copics (scroll down for numbers) , and used some papers that were lying in my stash, I just thought they go well with the image. But then, when I was almost finished, I remembered that Jodi's lovely theme for this challenge was Fall Colours... oh my!!!

Thank God that my dear BnW sisters understood my Senior moment lol! and let me keep the card :)

I hope you have a wonderful week, and this week, I would like to ask you to do two small things. First, be thankful.. to God first of all for all that you have in your life. Remember that everything is a Gift from Him.

Second, remember that October is Cancer month. Do check yourself often, it can save your life. Pray for all those who have died, have survived or are fighting against this desease.. and last but not least, take a few sconds to visit two friends of mine:

Jacque, who has just finished her pink journey (breast cancer) and is celebrating with pink candy, and our darling Elise.. who unfortunately has just started it. PLEASE go and leave them some love. We all need it sometime!

Blessings

I used Friday Sketcher's sketch for my card,

Copic colours:

E 000, 00, 11, 21, 35

R 0000, 00. 20, 22, 24

B 0000, 91, 95, 97

W 00, 1, 3, 5

Pammy's Celebrating Christmas- Mo DT

Hiya all!

I am glad you passed by today, as I have something cute to share with you. As you can see from the title, I have made a Christmas card.. and should do lots more, since it's only twelve weeks before Christmas! Eek!

Today I have used for the very first time, Pammy Stockings, from out lovely Mo's Store. I used the version that comes ready coloured, and I tell you, it's lush when you have to make a quickie card.

If you'd like to buy it, you can find it here

If you like her, but prefer to colour her yourself in whatever way you'd like, there is the usual B/W version, which you can find here

I used some lovely glittery paper with her, I can't remember which ones are these, from last year's. I think they are My Mind's Eye.. not sure. All the embellies are from my stash, the Christmas lights I bought them this week from our local craft shop. It has been quite some time since I had done an easel card, so I had tons of fun!

Challenge for this card: Papertake Weekly, as I used their lovely sketch

Have a marvellous week!

BnW DT _ Lilian's challenge

Hiya my dear friends :)

I hope your weekend was a lovely one, and that this week will offer a whole lot of new opportunities for each of you. Yesterday I left for a five day retreat, so this is a scheduled post. I will be back next Friday evening, and after that I will be more fresh and filled with all the Joy the Lord will give me.

Today I want to share with you this BnW card that I have made for Lilian's Clean and Simple challenge. Well, I have had two CAS cards in a row, and even though they are quicker to make, Clean and Simple is simply not my style!! LOL

I continue looking at my card and say to myself "oh it will look better if I add some flowers, some bling, a charm ...." :)

But this is the challenge, so I stuck to it.

I hope you will join us this week. All we have to see on your card is a BnW image.. the rest is just Clean and Simple!! Have a wonderful week my friends. I will be reading your wonderful comments as soon as I come back.

I am sorry, but I don't have time to write the Copic numbers. I still have got to pack some things. The Paper I used is Maja Design! Yummy!
Take care my dear firends, and thank you for the encouragment you always give me. I am taking you all in my heart.

God bless you

Mo's Digital Pencil POTM- Blog hop

Hi, thank you for swinging by today, I am happy to have you drop on my Blog. It is already the third Thursday of the month, so it is time for another fantastic Hop showcasing Mo's Digital Pencil's lovely images.

Today Lori is our lovely Host, and she chose Clean and Simple as our Hop theme.

Well, if you just dropped here, and you don't want to miss the fun, you might better start off with Lori's Blog. But if you came here from Elaine's Blog, then you are right on track.

For my card today (which was VERY challenging for me to keep it clean and simple!), I used the lovely Prince Edward Island image; Anne of Green Gables with her carpet bag. Isn't she cute?? :)

I coloured her with Copics, and I only added a piece of organza ribbon and some bling in the corners. I tell you.. it was hard to keep it simple, but I like the effect. I hope you join in the fun and let me know what you think of my Anne of Green Gables.

The heart that is dangling from the ribbon was silver in colour and had lots of glitter. But the top part had a rust sort of colour, so I decided to colour it with an orange Copic colour, to coordinate with the card and at the same time cover the rusty colour. It worked brilliantly, and it looks lovely.

Well, if you like this image (seriously, who wouldn't?!) you can instantly purchase it here.
And from here, please head back to Lori so that you can finish our lovely Hop. Have a lovely day, and I hope to have you back here soon.

Smiles and hugs

Rosette

I used Basic Grey paper for this: Green at Heart line.

Lemonade Anyone??

Happy Monday to all my friends!!

Thank you for swinging by again today to take a look at my BnW challenge creation. As I promised yesterday, I am back again.. and this time not after a week!!!

Today our lovely Lynda challenged us with a colour challenge, and let me confess that it WAS a challenge for me to use these colours together :) But I am happy with the result, and it was fun! So thank you Lynda.

The colours Lynda want you to use, together with a BNW image are:

For today's card I used out Lemonade Anyone? image. It was a very favourite image when the release came out, and I can see why, she's always so cute, shy and a busy bee :)

I used Sketh Saturday's sketch for this one, I liked the sketch very much. I was wondering what papers should I use and I met these papers in my Basic Grey Cupcake Collection.. they have some other colours together with the three colours Lynda chose, but I focused the colours chosen more on the colouring of the image. The colouring was done with Copics, but for the background and floor I used Antique Linen and Frayed Burlap Distress Inks.

I will also enter these challenges:

Copic Creations: Pleats or Folds
ISB challenge: Something Girlie
Sketch Saturday: Sketch used

Thank you so much for swiging by today. Don't go without telling me what you think of my Belle, she will be delighted to know :) Have a wonderful week, smile a lot.. and make someone happy b giving him a hand crafted card.

Blessings

Mo's DT Blog Hop of the Month

Hello my dearest friends. I do so hope that you are having a whooping time, and that the fact that you are here means that you are doing well.

I am having a very busy week, crammed with meetings, so I hope that you forgive me for being away for a couple of days more. But thank goodness I made this card last week, otherwise I would have been late for sure!

It is the third Thursday of the month, so another Blog hop for Mo's Dream Team, using her awesome images. This month it is my turn to host the Blog hop, and I challenged the wonderful Dream team to use:

Nesties/ Dies/ Punches

in their creations. If you started the Blog Hop here, you are definitely right on track. BUT make time to hop and see the wonderful creations that my DT buddies have prepared for you.

This is what I came up with. I wanted to use this cute and darling angel for this card, and teamed it up with Capella paper from Basic Grey. It is always so difficult to cut into such lovely paper, but I could do it for this special, gorgeous angel. As you may see, I used various dies and nesties for my card. Let us see if you get inspired by this!

You can purchase this digital stamp in Mo's store, just by clicking here.

Now off you hop to Lori's Blog, and you will be surely happy with what she has prepared for you. BUT before you leave, leave me a comment, telling me what do you think of my angel, and I'm sure she will smile more :)

Have a lovely rest of the week! Smiles!

Today I am sharing with you my first of two cards as Guest DT member for Lovely HAnglar only challenge blog. If you are a frequent visitor of my Blog, you might know that these stamps are my favourite line of stamps, together with Magnolia and EB stamps.

Today's challenge theme we have for you is a colour theme, and Ilona has chosen Pink and Grey. Wow.. what a combo! I had fun making my card, not an everyday combination, and these HAnglars are perfect for a girlie, classy creation.

This is what I came up with :)

I have used Capella DP from Basic Grey, and the middle piece is from the Sugared line. Dark grey papers for matting are Core'dinations line.

Pink rose is from Magnolia, and the smaller grey roses are Prima, form Bunny-Zoe's. I coloured my imae using Copics, and added quite some bling and accents. The tag behing the image is made from a Clear stamp from Stampology (another Birthday item from Iris' lovely BRAK :)))

I stamped it directly on DP, using Staz- On ink, and I can use the upper part, or the behind for a personalised message. I added some bling on the centre of the flowers. Cool, huh? :)

I hope you like it, and that you'll let me know what you think of this cutie. Monochromatic

So we want to see your card, or projects : Including a BnW image (not EB digis.. these do not count) AND focusing on one colour. I focused on Blues for my card.

The gorgeous children/ babies images illustrated by the wonderful Elisabeth Bell are too cute not to want them ALL!

Mo's Digital Pencil POTM Blog Hop

Hello my Blogging Friends

I want to thank you for swinging by my Blog today, and hoping that you're having a lovely week. It is the third Thursday of the month, and that means that it is time for another Inspiration Blog Hop, done by Mo's Dream Team. I hope this one ispires you to use Mo's wonderful artwork to make lovely creations that will be perfect keepsakes for your family and friends.

.
Today our Hop is hosted by Elaine, and she chose the theme Fairytale.
Now if you came here from Elaine's Blog, you are right on track, but you just happened to be here, and you don't want to miss some fun, better start from her blog

Being as complicated as I am, I did not want to go for the obvious, and I couldn't decide what to use! :) Mo has so much fun and lovely images!!

The first thing I decided was which Fairytale I wanted to work on; and the choice was Cinderella.
Mo has a gorgeous Cinderella image, and even the Stepsisters.. they are fun!

BUT I was imagining the Stepsisters' reaction, just after they found out that the girl whose foot was the right one for the too inportant glass shoe was.. Cinderella!

Sooo.. I decided to use Diva for that! Isn't she funny... pouting and telling Cinderella (behind her back after she was taken by the Prince).. "when I grow BIG I'll get EVEN" lol Sentiment is by TLC . She is still with her ball costume.. too funny!!!

How angry she was!!! :)

This is the detailed image (which I bathed in Stickles) lol, and you can find it in Mo's Store here.

Papers are Eva Basic Grey, and the purple flowers are punched outs, given the Pearl Glimmer Mist treatment, and disdtressed with Dusty Concord Distress ink. The leaves are cut handfree, and I distressed with Forest Moss.

To colour this image with Copics I used the following numbers:

W 00, 1, 3, 5
E 000, 00, 13, 21, 31, 25, 35, 47, 57, 95
V 0000, 000, 04, 06, 12
G 0000, 20, 21
Y 23
N 0, 2, 4, 6

Challenges for this card: Sketch Saturday: Sketch used

Stampavie and more: Anything goes

Now after you let me know you've been here, and let me know what you think of my Cinder's stepsister, you head off to Lori's Blog for more fun and inspiration. I hop you enjoy yourself as much as we enjoyed making up our Fairytales, and don't forget to visit Mo's lovely Store to get your favourite images!

Have a marvellous rest of the week!

Make time to Connect - BnW DT

Happy Wednesday, my Belles!!

Are you having a wonderful week? Thank you for coming by today, I have a BnW DT creation to share with you. I am happy that I am already seeing some cards sprouting about in Blogland with these cute new images. It gives me so much joy. I just finished this a few minutes ago, but I wanted to share it with you. In fact I still have to make the inside panel. :) Am I impatient or what? :)

I used A Child's Prayer for this one, and as you know, it is part of the newest "Forever Young"release. These images are a must have, I can tell you. I hope this inspires you to use this stamp, and I found this freebie sentiment from TLC that goes perfectly with her.

I used Copics for this cutie, and after cutting around, I matted with foam pads for a raised scene. I used Marianne's Creatables frame nestie for the background. Papers were in my stash, and I love how much they shine with all the glitter. The horizontal panels are Papermania Blueberry Hill, I had a piece in my scraps folder, and I was happy it coordinated perfectly.

Large Flower is Magnolia, the smaller roses are from Bunny Zoe's (Prima pink), the white ones a gift from Sheila.

Last, but not least, I added some blue dewdrops and pink buttons to embellish.
I hope you like my Belle, and once again, thank you for taking time to read what I share, and leaving me comments that encourage me.

Last thing before I go... I have a small question for you.
(answer it after reading the sentiment, click two times on the photo for a better view).. Do you make time to connect? You don't have to answer it in your comment, but please do so in your heart. Obviously, if you DO want to share it with me, I am happy to recieve this bountiful fruit of your heart with joy. Personally, yes, I make time to connect.. that is, to pray. I do not do it just because of my style of lfe, but because I believe in the Power of prayer, and I know it gives me strength to carry on, day by day, recieving with patience and love whatever I encounter in my day.

Do you see the glittery paper?

Copics I used: Skin E000, 00, 11, 21, R20

My First Criss-Cross Card! ROP DT

Happy Monday everyone!!

Thank you for visiting me again, I am so Blessed to be surrounded by so many wonderful Blogging Friends, who encourage me to use my talent, which is a Gid-given gift. I remind myself over and over again, so that I find joy in sharing my ideas, and make someone happy with my cards.

Today I have tried to make my forst ever criss-cross card. It is easy to do, and I thank Just Magnolia, for making this chalenge for us. It gave me an opportunity to try this one. I was reluctant at first, but I had just finished colouring my Tilda, and knew what paper I wanted to use with it, so I could afford a try! :)

If you want to try this pattern yourself, go to Just Magnolia's challenge Blog, there is a wonderul video tutorial that explains it all.

I coloured Tilda with Copics and added Stardust and Mulled Lavender Stickles on her wings. The stickles on her dress is called Eucalyptus. You can find Tim Holtz Stickles for your projects at Roses on Paper. If you would like any colour that you don't see in stock, just take the time to e mail Summer, to check when it will be in. The paper I used to stamp my image on is Neenah Solar White. Thank you Sonja dear for giving me the opportunity to use these lovely stamps, and try out the cardstock and Magnolia paper (called Bubbles).

After I finished colouring, I cut around Tilda. After I had finished decorating the card, I propped her on the side. For added dimension, on the bottom half I used glue dots, but from her wings up I used foam dots.

After that, I stamped some extra bubbles and after I coloured them I cut around and glue-dotted them on the other side, as if these are bubbles that Tilda just blew.

I embellished with lace ribbon, and a lovely flower that was also a gift from Sonja. Huggies for you dear. I used a Basic Grey brad in the middle, and some flourishes that I did using the Marianne Designs die that my brother and SIL sent me for my coming Birthday. Thank you sweeties :) You're the best! Can't wait to see you in 5 weeks' time :)

On the flourishes, I added a couple of matching gems.

The jotting panel has more bubbles, as you can see. I love this set of Magnolia stamps, they look cool together :) I distressed the edges with Milled Lavender and Dusty Corduroy Distress Ink, and added faux stitching with a fine black marker and Thank you sentiment.

I hope you let me know what you think of my first criss-cross card, I am also thankful for each comment, everytime... you make my day.

Blessings and I pray that you have a marvellous week. By the way, I recieved a lovely surprise Birthday gift from lovely Iris on Saturday. I will show you a picture
(when I have time to take it) of the lovely goodies! Thank you sweetie :)
