Belle with Laundry
Look at her.. she looks exactly like me.. when I do about three loads of kids' clothes!!! I will show you soon the heaps of laundry I have almost everyday:) So I really identified with this image as from the first time I saw her :) Isn't she cute?
For her card I used Friday Sketcher's sketch for this week. I had fun playinng with it, especially knowing it's our dear Jacque's sketch, and it WAS fun making it. I used stitching on the main panels, and matted the image, which I had coloured using Copics. The background is distressed by Tattered Rose.
Do you see the glimmer on the flowers? I made that with Tattered Rose Glimmer mist, which my friend Sonja sent me. Thank you sweetie :)
To add some fun, I added a clothes' line on my ribbon, and I hang in some small wood pegs which I had in my stash, and hang the words "To mum" in individual letters. Isn't it cool? I like it.. do you?
This is the inside view, I kept it simple and efective.

Oh Rosette, this is so beautiful! I love the idea of the line and the little pegs! Not to mention that this image is one of my favourites - probably every women´s favourite because Belle is doing this laundry with a big smile on her face. We can all learn from her!
