You wouldn't want to miss this... Exciting News.. and Sweet Stuff to Celebrate

Today it's such a happy day for me, I'm glad you didn't resist and came on over. Please get some coffee, take a chair and live this lovely occasion with me! Sorry, I do have to warn you, it's a long post, but for me it's a wonderful time to share some things with you. And if you stick till the end, you'll have a small reward! :)

Well I'd better start now, finally the day arrived when I can spill the beans :) Phew.. these were so hard to keep :)
Some days ago I recieved an e mail asking me whether I wanted to join in one of those teams that one cannot but punch himself to be invited to join.. or herself in my case.. to see whether I was dreaming.. The team is:

Mo Manning's Digital Stamps' Dream Team!

If you have never seen Mo's images, well where were you these months.. or year actually?! If not, I'll be providing you links, and well, now I can also provide you some inspiration, hopefully, to see what YOU can do when you achieve these digital stamps. I used to be a "No No" person when it came to digi stamps. I used to colour with Distress inks a lot, and the printer ink used to run all over the place when I tried to colour. Also the quality of digi stamps didn't really apply to me; but when I saw the first digi stamp from Mo (I saw it on Rach's blog) I was hooked!! I have stalked her Store, her blog and her DTs', so you can actually visualise how I couldn't get myself straight when I recieved that e mail! I froze on the chair, and had to read the email three times to see whether it was REALLY addressed to me, or if the one who sent it meant to send it to someone else! I accepted the lovely offer.. mechanically.. but two days had to pass till was able to e mail Mo and thank her! Okay now.. you think I'm a freaky stupid woman! okay! :)

Anyway.. now I do part of this super talented team, officially from today :) Thank you Mo, Suzanne and all the team for the welcome they gave me, and for believing so much in my work. To celebrate this first good news (yes I have more coming), I am sharing you my Debut card with the latest digi that Mo release this week:

Wednesday's Child (is full of woe)

Isn't he a handful of cuteness?! :) He IS full of woe, and I imagined him that he's upset to have forgot his best friend's birthday!! One that will give him a handful of hard time for that!! Lol

I coloured him with Copics sorry but for today I won't be giving Copic numbers. The post is already long enough!)
Paper: Archaic Paper, Basic Grey
Embellies: Button, Basic Grey brads, Sack cloth.

The sentiment I decided to use on the front is cut into these individual block letters which I cut out from a book of alphabet Tiles from HOTP. It has been a while since it was kindly sent to me, so I don't really know if they are still available. I like them, especially for these boy cards.. where you are sooo limited in embellies. I am not happy till a card is flowing with them. those of you that visit me often, simply know that!

The inside is kept simple. I computer generated the sentiment with dark brown ink, using Cheri font. I also added the last piece of the paper I used from the front.

Wow! I told you I have a lot to share! Mo and Elisaeth are two of my most favourite designers, so designing for them both is being on Cloud 9 for any cardmaker!

Look at her.. sooo relaxed.. too concentrated on her story, nibbling a tasty apple! Mmmm.. AND she is as much tasty to colour as she looks! That bandana, and gorgeous outfit!! Yay.. you can puchase it today from here:

For this card I used Basic Grey's June Bug papers.. love these
Coloured with Copics
Prima country flowers, papers, BG rhinestones and BG brads from Roses on Paper
The middle flowers are punched outs, and distressed with Peeled Paint ink
Pearls and rhinestones (red) from stash

Hi. I have just come across your blog and My God, WHAT a blog!!! You are a very talented lady. I am not surprised that you have been chosen, twice over!!! - your work is absolutely gob-smacking. I will be following your works closely. I am just venturing into stamping so a newbie really but I did come across Mo's digi stamps and was unsure. Mo herself kindly responded and reassured me. I have downloaded her freebie and intend to use it very soon. Her images are just divine. The EB image is mouth watering - you have brought it to life BEAUTIFULLY. Congratulations. Love, Shibu

Hello!
What a coincidence, I now own this card having bought it from a local shop in Mosta. I love your work and own 4 of your cards. I enjoy making cards myself, but they are nothing compared to your works of art. In fact it was thanks to you that I discovered copics, and now I don't know how I managed to live without them :)

God Bless,
Sharon Pace
