Something more elegant

Happy Thursday to all my Blogging friends. Most of the week is already over.. my my where does time go??

I have something special, different to share with you today. It is not a card that I do most of the time, but from time to time I get asked to do a card for someone who requires something different than a cute image. This particular card is for our Archbishop.. yep!!

I get the honour.. and the headache for a whole week :) just to come up with something elegant, neat (not shabby chic styles) and adapted. This is the result.

He will be coming to our Home next week to meet with us and with the kids in our care, so they will be giving this to him, together with a small gift.

I focused on bronze, deep reds and browns, my favourite combo for this kind of card. I added a small cross to the sentiment. I would have like a smaller bronze brad, but I didn't have, and I have to get them from abroad, so I wouldn't hae made it on time. Therefore I settled with that.

The sentiment is computer generated, and it is a Blessing which I took from the Bible's Book of Numbers. It continues on the inside. I hope you let me know what you think of this card. It gave me some tension to finish!! :)

Take care my friend... and YES this blessing is for all of you who take the time to visit me here and encourage me all the way.

Thanks for looking
