'Twas the Night Before Christmas

Do you recognise the bits of sneak peeks I've been showing you these last few days? Was I right to tell you that you will NEED this stamp?! Mmm.. look at those adorable kids.. too tired to wait for Santa!! They were actually waiting, and reading a lovely Christmas Story, or singing some favourite Christmas Songs.. when they dosed on the sofa. (I didn't heavily embellish this card, to leave the image stand out.)

They even left some Cookies for Santa, and some hot chocolate too! But ho ho ho .. he DID come.. with his rosy cheeks and the bells on his booties :) Look at the bling he has on his hat. I used Souffle pens on his beard and the white parts of hid costume, and then some stardust Sticles for some shine.

I loved colouring this cute scene, that comes all in ONE stamp! Isn't it lovely? Oh I can say that forever! This stamp, together with the other five, will begin selling on October 31, shipping out the following week. You can order yours from the Belles 'nd Whistles Store, or from any of the othe online Stores that sell BnW stamps. (You can find a list of these Stores on the Official Store Site).

If you leave a comment on all the DT blogs, AND on the BnW blog when you complete all the hop, you will have a chance of winning a FREE set of these adorable stamps. Summer is giving away 2 sets for this lovely occasion. So TWO different people will be winning a set each! Yay!! Thank you Summer!!

Stampavie Christmas

As I told you some hours ago, I am back with a card this time. I finished this card wit the lovely Nativity image by Stampavie. Aren't they gorgeous? They are lovely to colour, and I love the traditional feel of these cards, which remind us exactly what Christ-mas is all about. Elaine has these gorgeous stamps at her store- Quixotic Paperie.

For this card I used Sketch Saturday's fab sketch, and the image is coloured with Copics. As for paper I used MME Wonderful paper.. you have to see these.. they are just so glittery and gorgeous.. Yummy!!

You can see how shiny this card is!

The large spacer and the two smaller ones, and also the snowflake charm, are also from Quixotic Store. The sentiment is computer generated. Then I punched its corners with a circle punch, and I matted it to coordinate. The stars and brads are from my stash.

This is how I did the inside. Goodnight my friends and I'll be back tomorrow with another sneak peek :)

ROP DT- Bildmalarnas for Mojo Monday

Happy Sunday everyone :)

I hope you are doing well, thank God I am much better now, almost to my normal self. Now I am creating again, but some thngs I just can't show you right ow :) You have to wait a bit more. But I have done also a ROP DT card with these cutie Bildmalarnas. Isn't this image cute?? :) I wanted to remind you that Summer has these lovely babes in her Store, and there are images suitable for everybody.. also some cute Christmas ones for the coming Season. I followed this week's Mojo Moday sketch , and used the lovely Basic Grey June Bug papers for this card. You can also find these here, together with all the different paper packs that Basic Grey gives us, and matching brads too.

Summer has also in stock the latest packs: Eerie, Eskimo Kisses and the Indian Summer, but if you'd like them hurry fast. They won't be there for long!! Then you will hve for another stock to arrive!! Not so good for our instant gratification :)

Well, I colored Tosse with Copic colours, and disressed the edges with Tim Holtz Scattered Straw Ink. For embellishing I used polka orange ribbon and flower charm from stash, and Country Elegance flowers (found here) together with some mini roses from my flower box.

Have a lovely rest of the weekend, and I hope to be back soon with more creations. Scatter joy.. and Smile :)

Quixotic Mini DT Challenge

Hello everyone!

Finally I am getting better, and can afford some time at my craft table. A couple of days ago I realised it would soon be time for the mothly Quixotic Mini DT challenge, and I started working on my project; just a couple of minutes everytime. The day finally arrived, and we're glad to present you our projects.

The idea is that Elaine chooses a stamp we'll be using, and we'll see what every one of the DT does with it: the more different, the better. Obviously for this project I used a lot of fabulous goodies that can be found at Quixotic Paperie online store, and which Elaine kindly added to my Guest DT package.

This month, the chosen stamp for this challenge is Danni - an Elisabeth Bell stamp for SCACD.

You can win a lovely prize in this mini DT blog hop. What do you have to do?

First you need to comment here, tell me what you think of my project, then I'll give you the rest of the DT blogs, you go and see what they did with this gorgeous stamp. Comment on each blog. On Wednesday, 28th October at 1pm UK time, Elaine will choose a random winner form one of our blogs. If that person is found to have commented to every DT posting with this stamp, she will win the prize!

What is the prize? Go and check for yourself on Elaine's blog. (You will fid the link below, in the end of the posting.)

Now again to my project. As you can see, I made a gift set with this lovely Danni : a card and a matching gift box. I used Papermania Bluberry Hill A4 paper pack (I find them lovely to be able to wrap boxes etc..)

I stamped Danni twice on watercolour paper, and coloured her with Distress Inks. I added some faux stitches and matted her on pink and green cardstock.

For the box I used lace and polka dotted ribbon, a lovely Princess crown charm from Quixotic, added some lovely raffia lace ribbon, Prima Country Elegance flowers, dew drops, and some green half pearls . Finally I added some branch punch-outs and those girlie hearts. Being a girlie project, I couldn't leave out some bling, so I added Stickles to the wings Danni's and the butterflies')and to Danni's clothes. The sentiment is computer generated. I filled the inside with some good chocolate coated nuts, but you could replace with anything.

For the card, I used the same papers, and followed A Spoon Full of Sugar Sketch. I left the image as the centrepiece, and instead of ribbon I used matching raffia lace; like the box.

I left the inside plain, embellished with more flowers and left the sentiment open for any occasion.

Now hop on to the other blogs, but if you'd like to be eligible for the prize, don't forget to leave a comment here as well ;)
Hop on now.. some other lovely makes await your comments :)

Have a lovely and safe week.
Smile!

So Sweet Saturday

Hello my friends! Ready for a long post.. to make for my long blogging leave?! :)

How is everyone? I hope that no one spent the last week wrestling with fever, like I did. It doesn't want to leave me!!! My goodness!! My lovely .. and "very" kind DT fellow members suggested me to drink Lysol.. hang garlic around my neck and some more lovely idas!! Yeah .. those girls!! Can you believe.. behind those gorgeous creations they make???!!! I'm tellin on ya now!! Sob sob!! LOL
They were fabulous, cheering me up and cracking me.. even though a bit cruel!

Finally today I have something to show you. During the week I stole some minutes from when the fever used to let me free for some time to make this set with the gorgeous Mmmm.. Yes Please!!

I have chosen to show you how these stamps can be fun and versatile. I made this project with Mother's Day in mind. All mums love tender images like these, especially on their Special Day, when they so remember when we were young! Mum just starts crying on this day when she sees me, and starts telling everyone how small I was born and how much I used to cry in the night!! hehe

So I'm sure she'll love this set, even though it has a boy in it (oh yes, I have a brother and sister as well)

I wanted also to show you that even though Elisabeth's images are all so detailed, they can be also paper-pieced. In fact I did that with the table-cloth and dish cloth Belle has. It really helped for that raised effect, don't you think?

I also chose to give this card a two tone look.. natural browns (even on skin) and different shades of blue. I loved doing it. So I guess I can enter it for Crafty Creatons Challenges; as they have the theme BLUE. Also Charizma Cards want to see Distressing. If you look properly, you can see that I distreesed most of my edges, using Frayed Burlap on cream paper, and Faded Jeans on the Blue cs. (on the box)

This is the inside view of my card. I kept it simple.

This other piece of the set is called a Metric Slanted Corner Box. I followed a tutorial I found here, and it came easily together. The sweets won't remain there till Mother's day,(can you bet?) but I'm sure my mum will really love this set with some small choccies in it :)

My flower arrangment :)

A Close-up.

A side view of the box :) Sorry for so many photos :))

Have a lovely weekend my friends, and do let me know that you've been here today please. I need some lifting up after all that Lysol!!! :)

List of Copics I used.

Ribbon, lace and flowers from my stash (lovely flowers and the apple charm were sent to me by my German friend Sonja :) Thank you sweetie, I know you'll read this.
Paper: Papermania Blueberry Hill
Pin and pearls from stash
The big pearls in the corners: Quixotic Paperie (for those who live in UK don't forget that Elaine and some other stores get BnW stamps as well)
Basic Grey Blue brad: Roses on Paper

Quixotic Gdt- A Teeneage Hello

I'm sorry I've been away for some days, I am running a fever at the moment, and I'm having hours of big, throbbing headaches, that leave me no choice other than to lie down in the dark and cover my eyes. It's been already three days, and I'm grounded in my room :))

But this morning I woke up not too bad (yesterday it was like this, but then in the afternoon the pain and the fever returned - Boo!)and I decided I wanted to finish this card I had started and upload it. This features Moody for Music; and it's one of the Paper Makeup Moody Girls that Elaine has in her lovely Store.

This is a close up of the image :) I coloured it in Copics, of which photo you will see at the end of the post. The sketch I used is from this week's Stamp with Fun, by Tina. The sentiment is from My Guy Ian set, by The Greeting Farm.

When I recieved it from Elaine as part of my GDT pack, I immediately thought of Teenage.. we all know their style, the different look.. the mood for loud banging music in their ears!! And I an see it can be put to good use from lots of us!! So f you like it, go and grab it while you can at Quixotic Store.. it's like being in a Candy Store there.. so many goodies to choose from!! To compliment the style I used Basic Grey's Lime Rickey paper pack, and some Lemon Raffia Lace.

I think it goes very well with most styles this type of lace, don't you think? At Elaine's you can find a large variety of colours and different ribbons and lace and tulle. We all love these goodies! :)

I embellished with Stickles, Prima flowers and Basic Grey buttons. To soften the corners I used lemon coloured dewdrops. This is the inside view, with the same DP, andnBasic Grey brads to match. Hearts stamp by Studio G. Huggies to all, and I hope that I'll be myself again in no time to have my creative juices flowing. Here I also need your humble prayers!

Take care .. and Smile!!!

BnW Witchie joins three challenges for Halloween

Just a quickie post ot share with you this creation :) I just finished this cutie little witchie who's picking on poor cat, scaring the bones out of him with a scary little spider dangling from her broom!! Doesn' that broom and hat reminds you of Harry Potter gang?? :) It does to me!

Well while she was strolling out in the dark she met Simon Says and Spoon Full of Sugar, and they decided to make a feast for Halloween. Sso they needed a place, and asked to join Sketch Saturday, who made a layout just for them!! lol

Sorry.. just made my own "town", and now I made my own story! It must be a Saturday Night Fever!!
I was inspired by this card from the most talented Camilla, but I din't have that Magnolia stamp, so I drew my own Belle city, with the full moon and a couple of bats. Camilla's is better, definitely, but I enjoyed myself doing it :)

I hope you like it, and even if you don't; I'd love to read what you think of my party witch! I'm off to see where did the cat hide!! His eyes were popping out with fright!! :)Happy Weekend!
