A Gorjuss Basic Grey Creation

Yay!! I got to play with my Gorjuss babes again.. these are really addictive, and for those who like them, they can be purchased from Funkykits. I had such a time colouring her, and I'm really looking forward to ink them all up.. one by one! :) I liked Basic Grey's sketch, and I decided to play. I coloured the image yesterday, and I played a bit with the colouring. These distress inks are a wonder to work with I can tell you! I coloured Miss Gorjuss, and played a bit with strong shadow. I liked the effect. It seems a miniature painting.

I used Two Scoops Paper pad, and embossed a piece of coordinating textured cardsock. To distress it, and get out the white core, I used a nail file; working slowly till I was happy with the effect created. I also distressed the paper edges with Peeled Paint Tim Holtz ink, and embellished with flowers, gems and some clear stamps.

Inside view. I'm still not 100 percent happy with the inside. It lacks something, maybe an image? Or a design arorund the circle? Dunno!! Any ideas welcome! :))

Blessings to you, and thanks Martine for the lovely sketch!!

Thanks for looking

I wouldn't change a thing to the inside. I think this is a case that less is better....it's perfect. I thought the sketch this week over at Basic Grey Challenge Blog was great too and don't you just love that paper from the Two Scoops collection! I just bought the Porcelain aad Marrakech Collections. I can't wait to use them. Back to your card.....I think this may be some of your best coloring yet. truly a masteroiece!
